There will be plenty of play time for them all, Zlatan and Trez can switch for each other alot, and Zlatan can play for DP when he is injured. Right now we have the best attack in the world!, and the best Juve squad since many years.

emo, we dont have the best squad yet, we still lack in numerous areas, specifically wide and young talented defenders.

No no no, we have with the arrival of Cannavaro and Zlatan the best squad since a long time!, what do we need young defenders for when we have a CB partnership of Cannavaro and Thuram, plus Legro and Tudor to backups. This team is fantastic, i want the CL trophy this year :)

You are absolutely right, i mean that too, even though i didnt make it clear. Personally i would almost dump DP for Zlatan, but that is too hard. The can play all three of them, not together but.....

 If Zlatan really comes, this will become the saddest day of our summer campaign for me... Zlatan will ruin his career with us, and we're paying big bucks for that... Just another Di Vaio... :sigh:

What do you base that on? Di Vaio and Zlatan is IMO as far between in playing style as possible.

He is good in small spaces, he can dribble very wel, so I think we can use him in matches where our opponent plays on defence, for example against small teams. He can score even if you don't expect it.

IMO he is just waste of money... If he joins, we'll have a problem with our strikers since Capello can't field them all together... Zlatan won't get to play as much as he'd liked to, and then ruins the team spirit with his foolish statements, that's my biggest fear right now...

I hope I am proved wrong though... But even more I hope that he won't join at all... 10 million pounds FFS, just way too much IMO...

What foolish statements? I can't remember a single time he's been complaining about not playing to the press! Please, do give me the articles he's been in!

Del Piero welcomes Zlatan Tuesday 31 August, 2004

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero is delighted with the news that his club have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede should complete his move from Ajax on Tuesday after a £13m fee was agreed last night.

"I don’t really need to say it but he is a great buy," stated the Italian. "Everyone is aware of his quality. I’m happy with his arrival and not worried about the competition for places."

The 23-year-old is set to sign a four-year contract and could be presented to the media as soon as this evening.

"Juventus have made an excellent move," added Italy and former Juventus tactician Marcello Lippi.

"The club have strengthened themselves and weakened an opponent in their Champions’ League group.

"Ibrahimovic undoubtedly increases the quality of the squad which boss Fabio Capello has available to him."

The attacker was also a target for Roma but they have now opted to net Egyptian forward Ahmed Hossam Mido from Marseille.

The 21-year-old is in the capital and his capture is set to be officially confirmed by this evening.

German tactician Rudi Voller has also landed in Rome after admitting that he will be the new Giallorossi boss.
