I'm not against Kosovo's independence, I just dont like the fact the west is meddling in other's business again and spinning their support as something ideological (be it a victory for democracy, or in this case, independence). The U.S, UK, etc are in there for their own selfish reasons.

Than again, maybe its for the best. I assume there is still alot of ill feelings between them, therefore they could probably never negotiate with another. Maybe its best other nations step in. If this ultimately leads to peace, their intentions are secondary.

And how does Serbia losing power over Kosovo mean that America automatically controls it's wealth? It sounds to me like another stupid way to blame all of their problems on Americans. I understand why Dule is mad this sounds to me like a load of bullshit being pulled by the Kosovo inhabitants.
Yes afterall, all they want is to spread democracy and freedom in our world:disagree:

"Spead", "sell democracy and freedom consulting services for a small fee", what's the difference, right? :eyebrows:
i think there is a difference swag. to spread democracy involves educating the civilians about the concepts of democracy, and usually does'nt involve interference with a country.

as for selling democracy and freedom conculting services is mainly aimed at creating a propaganda ( more like a cover) with sights set for other benefits for the country selling democracy.

i hope this makes some sense :toast:

Because our government thinks we're the almighty superpower who controls the world.

Fucking retards.

not that i am not biased, because i am after all an albanian, but thanks to the united states government and nato, a lot of people from kosovo were able to live, too bad for those albanians who got hit by american rockets though

This will be a huge precedent. This opens the doors for all the provinces of the world to separate themselves. Hell Croatia could be dissected in a number of parts.. It's a historical Serbian province, it's Serbian land but the people there are not Serb, the very big majority, and that has to stand for something. But which is more important, history or the people? One things for sure, this isn't to be decided by a third side(USA).

I'm completelly evenhearted about this and I won't congratulate anyone but one thing's for sure, that ever-so-popular Serb mentality won't be surpressed for too long. A war is due IMHO.

Good ol' Balkan, always interesting. :D

Well, if you go by that logic, majority of the people here are not serb either. They never were.
