This. Firmino is a world-class-player in the making in my opinion.
some might say, that our last "star" from the bundesliga flopped (diego), but firmino would be worth the risk. we should get him.
furthermore he is still very young. we need to rejuvenate our squad anyway. at the moment we are the oldest top-team in europe. we dont want to end like inter after 2010 or milan after 2007, do we?!
EDIT: firminos buy-out clause is ~ 25 mio apparently.
That would be Arturo

and he was anything but a flop
Our age is a factor, but I reckon that when Pogba leaves,we are going to reinvest wisely and bring in some quality youngsters and/or a superstar which will bring the average age down....Pretty low chances of us ending up like Inter circa 2010 or Milan 2011 as we have some potentially great youth lined up like Berardi,Coman along with experienced players who I think will probably retire with us like Vidal,Marchisio,Chielleini who will successfully see us through the upcoming transitional phase.
Would you say that Firmino will take us to the next level right now? There are examples of players excelling in Bundesliga and mightily struggling elsewhere(prime example being Kagawa)....The economic state of Juve is such that we can't really afford to throw 20-25 million on a potential superstar and hope he goes on to fulfil his potential because if he does not,we would have a flop sitting on our bench that cost us a whole season's transfer budget.I would rather spend it on someone like Lavezzi(15 million i.e.)who is a proven star and who would be a guarantee to cause problems to oppo with his speed and an eye for goal.
