- According to Agresti Bonucci or/and Ogbonna are not in the plans of Allegri and this is very probable scenario that at least one of them leaves us.
- Marrone future should be decided soon, he has the chance to be a part of our team for next season.
- Sorensen, Motta and De Ceglie are on the transfer list and they will be sold as soon as some offers arrive. There is some interest in De Ceglie and one offer is 2.5m high.
- We have been monitoring Lavezzi since April.
- Our representatives have been on the stands today to watch some PSG players: in particular Lavezzi and Pastore. We are very interested in Rabiot too.
- Manolas is too expensive for us. Without sales we won't find money to purchase for big money both winger and defender. Luisao is cheap option, and we want to take advantage of Benfica financial crisis.

All from VS.

perhaps if marotta would stop 'loaning out with options to buy' the players we are trying to offload for once we'd be able to actually raise some cash. I find it hard to believe that someone like Isla could not attract enough interest to want to buy him permanently

I think Marotta is gambling on Isla. It could be argued that his value just now is low as it will ever be after coming off two bad seasons. A loan to the premier league gives him a chance to play regularly in the shop window of the EPL. If he does alright we can maybe sell for 10m to QPR or get another decent bid.

If we sell just now I do not see us getting even close to 10m.

Plus Isla has never played regularly since joining, who knows a loan could get him back to his Udinese form and he could be useful again.

With the rest of the loans, I honestly think we struggle to find buyers. We have made bad signings of unglamorous players at high wages and getting them to be attractive to other clubs/agree to a move seems to be difficult. Serie A teams don't have a lot of cash and we have surplus players that foreign teams don't really want.

But, I do agree though we should just cut our losses on some e.g. Motta, De Ceglie and just sell for whatever we can get.

sorensen is another case, i mean a couple of weeks ago he was on the verge of going to leeds on loan? is nobody seriously willing to buy him? again i find that incredibly hard to believe. I agree to an extent with what you said about Isla but he did have a positive world cup and that alone ought to be enough to encourage buyers

I agree on Sorensen, I would have thought we could sell him, he is young and has a decent record. I don't know if his agent is the problem but he seems to be turning down every move put in front of him.

Don't bother with him. He must have been born on a highway because that's where most accidents happen.

Like I said, one of the newer guys will break it down for you. I'm retired, I don't get paid enough to baby sit your fuucking ass.

Hopefully you get the picture of how the forum works nowadays, @Bjerknes? :)
It's a joke of a forum now, Marty should have dumped this place long ago. Way too many 'tards.

- According to Agresti Bonucci or/and Ogbonna are not in the plans of Allegri and this is very probable scenario that at least one of them leaves us. SELL THEM BOTH AND BUY MANOLAS IF YOU THINK HE'S WORTH THAT!
- Marrone future should be decided soon, he has the chance to be a part of our team for next season. ONLY AS THE LAST CHANCE CM OPTION!
- Sorensen, Motta and De Ceglie are on the transfer list and they will be sold as soon as some offers arrive. There is some interest in De Ceglie and one offer is 2.5m high. SELL THEM ALL!

Islas World Cup was mediocre at best. Looked similar to what he does on a good day at Juventus, not enough to turn heads.

Now... if he puts in a half decent season in front of BPL Sky Sports cameras then we have a discussion.

Reus is just one of those names we cant lure. Too many others would join and it would be a bidding war.

Lavezzi makes sense at the right price. WE can change to a 4-3-3 and he and Tevez can rotate upfront and partner Llorente and Morata if it is a 2 man forward line. he is 29 but he has a few years left in the tank and this is what we need until we start to get bigger budgets.
Our purchases has to be strategic unless they dont cost us any transfer fees like Evra. You say bigger budgets... how much bigger? from 20 mill this season to 50 or 60 mill two summers from now? If we purchase a 29 year old today for 20-25 mill then this player will take 25 mill out of that 60 mill we will be spending two seasons from now because we will be needing to replace him with an equal player at least.

I'll say it again.. in two years we will need to replace Pirlo (with a world class CM), Vidal and/or Pogba (with a world class CM), Tevez (with a borderline WC striker), Llorente (with a borderline world class striker), Barzagli (with a world class CB), Licht (with a world class RB) and Buffon (with a world class GK).

We will need a bigger budget than just 60 mill to maintain our current quality level. Hopefully the sales of Pogba and/or Vidal and our budget growth can finance this massive transition phase over the next two summers (under Allegri if I may add). We are in no position to purchase an above average/borderline worldclass 29 year old player when we'll be needing to replace every world class or semi WC player in the squad (except Chiellini, Marchisio and Asa) in the next two summers.

Buy younger established players or save the cash.

So many good news at once.

Contacting him for what exactly, to ask if he's willing to join us when he's 35?
To ask him if he likes the new Jeep. :klin:
