this is this team's last year to truly contend, after that it's another rebuilding project and i doubt the likes of pogba will want to stick around for that. So it is your assessment of the situation that is quite far away from the subject.
That's consuming it can contend but on the other way you agree that we're not competitive... Make up your mind... If you ask me we wouldn't have any % more of a chance at winning the CL if we brought in for instance Iturbe now. Plus the true adding forces in the CL are out of our reach, but realism is hard to find these days.

You talk about a rebuilding cycle as if it would mean a certain setback. Well that doesn't have to be the case at all at this point.

And a powerhouse is built on a long-term (indeed!) financially strong ground. That takes time, at least the "honest" way it does in this fucked-up Italian league. Your comment is quite far away from the subject. We're not talking about a single player here...
Going by your logic, I will probably have to wait until I am a grandfather to see Juventus being competitive in the CL again :howler:

Didn't I just say that the rebuilding process does not have to coincide with regress? We can progress and we will certainly be better inte CL this season than we were last season...

Looking a couple of years down the line at player ages and for example Tevez probably going back to Argentina after his contract expires, it seems that our plan will be to field:

Llorente
Coman AMC Berardi
Vidal Pogba

I'm not sure what our defence would look like past Chiellini definitely being at CB. I would hope that either Bonucci or Ogbonna do a Barzagli and take the step up to replace Andrea himself. In any case it looks like after this summer we'll need to focus on defensive signings as long as Coman and Berardi both make good progress on the potential they've shown.

this is a very optimistic lineup, either pogba or vidal will be gone(or both if vidal is gone this summer), and i really doubt both coman and berardi will be starters, also chiellini is a big question mark

Have to be optimistic when looking towards the future ;) Chiellini did seem to make significantly more mistakes last year than usual but I still wouldn't question his position as a starter. We'll see about Coman and Berardi but it looks like Coman will be bled into our starting lineup, and I would have expected the same with Berardi if we'd brought him back.

Berardi
Coman - ? - Gabbiadini
Vidal - Pogba
? - Pol Garcia - Rugani - Darmian
Leali

I'm with X, I feel like this season will basically determine if we will lose one of Vidal or Pogba next season. If we make a deep run in Cl and win or get second in Serie A, then I believe we will be able to keep both.

Coman is way too early to judge but I feel Berardi will definitely play a role in the squad next season and in the future but I don't see him so much as a starter but then again like Coman it is way too early.

And I would assume the cf would be Morata at that point also, given he stays.

Gabbiadini will never be a starter, and we will not field a starting 11 that includes 6 of our youngsters. Maybe in coppa Italia.

The only young players that I see being brought in within the next couple years are Berardi, Rugani, and Leali. We just brought in young players like Pereyra,Coman,Morata and Romulo who is at a fairly decent age.

If we believe in Leali then we don't need a Buffon replacement so that solves one issue, the other issue would be replacing our backline and attack. Slowly we will make the transition so I'm not worried.
