Ibra is better than el fenomeno
The numbers may be correct but the entire premises for her argument is shot to hell. Out of all those strikers, only Quags and Vucinic were planned transfers, a striker crisis in the winter of 10/11 let us to panic sign Matri and Toni. Bendtner is on a loan and will most likely not be redeemed.

I took that back, no need to look dumber than you are.

She still has a point tho, no matter how you twist it man :D
I know it's a hard pill to swallow!
No she does not have a point. It's an unvalid argument because she randomly stopped the timeline to her liking. We could have gone even further and said "if we didn't play with any strikers for the past 5 seasons and saved all the money we would potentially have spent on their salaries, we would have Christiano Ronaldo by now". It's just a stupid argument because we signed the striker who were available to our funds, some of them signed in a time where we had no strikers to field at all because of injuries.

Let's have a look:

5 year contract for Quag = wrong.
Salary of Giovinco = wrong.
Total purchase price for Quag = wrong (was higher, actually :D).
Contract length of Vucinic = wrong.
Numbers relating to RVP = completely random.

Do I need to continue?

No, she really doesn't.

Many said he is too risky to get, prolly most of them feel the same still. Never gotten the insistence of that idea, especially since our need was so great for attack. But whatevas.
The argument hinges simply on whether he would be fit or not, roll those platinum with diamond-encrusted dice and the winner is correct.

van persie 25m
for three years of salary of 10m a season
total 55m
Those figures are in Pounds Sterling.

Also, Van Persie's salary is £12m p/a plus bonuses, he'll basically cost United £70m over the four years.

70 x 1.25 = welcome, Mr. Bendtner.
