According to Tuttosport, the transfer of Manolo Gabbiadini to Juventus is almost done. Yesterday in Milan city there was the agent of the player. Juve and Atalanta have declared that the trade will end soon. 2,5 million euros for the half property of the midfielderJames Troisi, become free fromKayserispor Kulubu. Then within 10 days the boy will be yielded on loan to Atalanta.
I think Tuz's member list just got a bit shorter.

If Juve got Armero and Van Persie....I would be extremely happy. The squad would be complete.

Strikers of: Vucinic, Giovinco, Van Persie, Quagliarella, Boakye

I would be happy with that (I would keep Boakye there.....we need a 5th striker and he has great attributes and could develop well under Conte)

Donedealthatshit. We'll definitely hook up when I'm there next, either way. :D
Sounds good. We can talk about our biased board, and their desire to appease the nationalistic masses by signing mediocre Italian/Italien talent, more cm's and ss's without addressing the true needs of the squad, Luis Suarez, life, chicks, booze, philosophy, psychology, music, movies, religion, history, u name it :D

And since when did AC become a guru?
Since he realised that anyone who can understand Italian can be a 'guru'.

was definitely a real target, but only a chosen few wanted him here...:ahmed:
:dule:

He is a very clinical striker, has good poaching instics with a vey good ariel game despite not being very tall,
Pazzini is a much better fit to our system then Matri and he is an upgrade over him IMO, I think that in a 3-5-2 he is going to do a very good job for us (sampdoria played in a similar formation and he was very impresive).
Agreed.

It was Delneri's 4-4-2 at Samp in his really good season, playing up front with Cassano.

Their attacking play was largely based on crosses, though, which is what Pazzini really needs to thrive.

Juve, playing 3-5-2, will get into a lot of good crossing positions.

On Pazzini, what is his transfer value? And what would be Matri's?
Juve paid about 17m for Matri. That was in January and a bit of a panic buy, so that was probably a bit more than he was worth. Since then he has done well enough to show that he can play at a good level, so he's probably worth about 15m, I'd say.

Pazzini went to Inter for about 19m. That was probably a few million more than what he was worth. He made a fast start, but then struggled badly, so I would think his value would have dropped a bit, particularly with Inter having made it clear they want to sell him. I value him at about 12m just now.

All very much open to debate, though.

Cassano made Pazzini look good and increased his value. He was crap at Inter, with a reason.

19mln price tag for him was a joke, even 15mln is a joke. Only Italian clubs would pay that much for such striker and it's one of the reasons they fail in European competitions.
