True, but sometimes you need to act fast. I hate it when $#@! drags on; history isn't in our favor in these scenarios. Remember the Dzeko, and more recently Aguero sagas.
I personally think the Dzeko saga was always bullshit. We never had the money close to Wolfsburg's demands.

On Pazzini, what is his transfer value? And what would be Matri's?

I think Destro isn't going to happen - he is going to be a Roma player.

Somehow I can't see Van Persie joining us. JoJo seems more likely. In the end, we might need to give then 25m in cash. However, Pazzini and Matri are of similar market value. So I don't see why we are bothering with Pazzini.

I am also not sure why its so important to get JoJo. We already have Giovinco and Vucinic. What Juve really needs is a class center forward who will bang in 20 goals a season. Matri, Quags and Pazzini won't do it that I can tell you....and neither would Destro.

If we can't get players like Van Persie, Higuain, Benzema etc at a reasonable valuation then why not go for someone with less of a name but is good at scoring goals. Huntelaar I would consider actually. He is banging them in consistently and is probably worth 15m if not less.

There must be other options.

I'd take JoJo and Huntelaar. But i have a feeling we will end up with both JoJo and RvP. Gio and Matri might be lost in the process.
Come back to reality.. :D

That's not really saying much. Huntelaar as our star signing would be extremely disappointing!
add to that ,29 years old, average on the ball and already flopped once in Serie A.
