Stop gap solution Treq. If we can't get that CF this year, we push for an option in January, or wait until next summer. Suarez can fill in at CF, and be a huge impact player for us. I'd rather see us getting Suarez/JoJo and Destro while offloading one of Quag/Matri, and being able to acquire Higuain/Cavani next season, then get someone like Dzeko/Lewandowski now.

OK, fine. Doesn't matter. My point is, it's not Juve's style. It's Real Madrid's style, Inter's style, everybody else's style, but not our style. And I like our style. For example, I like Falcao a lot and I'd like to see him here, but I don't want us to spend 60M on him.
Well.. Quality cost a lot of money. We can take a chance with Destro and then maybe regret it later. Or we can pay up, and get a player who has proved thats he is fantastic on a high level for many years.

I am not arguing with that. I am saying there is another way. I think Giroud was bought for 11m. I haven't watched him, I don't know if he's good, but there are bound to be players out there who have played well, cost 10-15m and are ready to take the next step under a good coach like Conte and become world class.

Well.. It can also go the other way with those kind of players. Remember.. we have Matri, who didnt do much under Conte. Oh wait.. he is our topscore!! ;) .. But u get my point. It will be a risk to go that way.. The Destro way!

People wanting Suarez as the center forward signing :sergio:

Yes, let's splash 30 million euros on a second striker to play him as a center forward
Just like Liverpool and Ajax did play him as CF.. It's been what 4 years since Suarez was SS??

Correct me if im wrong but when did Agnelli or anyone else claim we'd sign a CF? Wasn't the talk about a "high profile player in the attacking department"?

For a stupid signing we could get someone like Nani and keep Matri. Everyone think we'll sign a CF because that's what we need but we're not promised one.. It would just make most sense, that's all.. i'm just saying..

Suarez is a CF though..

I rather us to sign a real scorer for the center forward position BUT I don`t think Suarez would be such a bad option
The guy isnt exactly a scorer like Cavani RVP or Higuain but if you take a second and think about 1997s Juve - back then we had DP-Boksic as our starters and I remember I really enjoyed Boksic even though he wasnt a big scorer
The guy scored and contributed a lot for the team

Suarez could do the same
Even though I`d rather see us sign someone like Cavani or Higuain, Suarez isnt such a bad option

Bruno Alves
Peluso
Gaston Ramirez
Damiao

and let's roll.
That wouldn't be a bad way to end the Mercato, to be honest. Although for the latter 2, they would be paying in excess of 20 million each.

I haven't even heard anything lately on my boy Gaston. I have all but given up hope

Iv noticed a lot of these smaller teams have been playing real hard ball with their star players. I'm not against them wanting to keep them it will make the league more competitive in my eyes but what bothers me if the huge inflation of player prices. Wasn't ozil and sahin both bought for 10-12 million each last season? Khadera as well? A team like Madrid who usually overpay buying those players for under 15 million each was astonishing and now pescara is demanding 10-12m for verratti? Or gaston in the 20m rage? Cavani 70m Its just getting ridiculous.

I'd love Diamanti to play for us if our formation allowed him to do so. But, we play with another style so I don't think he'd fit in.
I never followed him much, I kndw he was one of those tricky player's that could always be a danger to the opposing teams, but I left it at that. Now after the Euro's, he has really got me liking him.

Great depth player IMO.
