Yes. Why would you not want a fan favorite? We are way too good not to have a top class finisher in the ranks!!

Best video of Suarez btw
Because I am not a huge of fan any of the strikers we are linked with, especially van persie and because it's not Juve's style to buy superstars. We buy good players and make them stars, check Trezeguet, Ibrahimovic, Zidane, Del Piero, Vieri, Inzaghi. We did spend big money a few times but mostly for proven players within Serie A, not overhyped, overpriced premiership stars.

By the way, I like Suarez, but he is not exactly the pure striker we need.

So am I the only one who doesn't want an expensive big name striker?
What is it about people and the "big name" !!!!!?

God .. its not about the big name. Its about the quality. Quality makes the name. If it is a fantastic player, then he will obviously have a big name. Those two things go hand in hand.

Well, you don't want Balotelli to start for Italy (and claimed the only reason he started is cuz he's black), so your opinion doesn't really count. Moreover, you are a racist :p
How does that make me a racist?

Not necessarily. Otherwise Secco would have been just as good as Moggi. He bought only based on reputation.

We already have those promising players. Isla, Asamoah, Marchisio, Vidal, Vucinic, are all very good, solid players, albeit not world class (in Vidal's case, not just yet, but going to be very soon). We have no one in attack. We need to make that step up in quality. We can't hope that a front line of Destro and our current strikers can make the difference for us in Europe. No fucking chance! Matri and Quag are 3 levels below world class. Borriello is unranked, as he totally lacks class :D

I was just pulling your leg men regarding the racism thing ;)

Diego and Melo cost us a fortune, but I wouldn't classify them as big players. They had one solid season for their respective clubs.
Far from it! .. Secco didnt buy one single big name player. Poulsen, Tiago, Iaq, Amauri, Andrade and so on.. Some were good players, but definitly not stars.

Read my post again. I didn't say Secco signed big names. I said he signed based on reputation.
Who said anything about reputation? We are talking about superstars players like Suarez, Higuain, Falcao and so on. Big name players who have quality.

OK, fine. Doesn't matter. My point is, it's not Juve's style. It's Real Madrid's style, Inter's style, everybody else's style, but not our style. And I like our style. For example, I like Falcao a lot and I'd like to see him here, but I don't want us to spend 60M on him.
