I really wanna hike up a mountain until this crap cools down and the season starts then I'll be back to the city.
All I need is a flashlight, glue, marshmallows, iPod and a fat buddha sack :spliff:

GDS:Bruno Alves is very close to Juve on loan.In exchange Spaletti wants Pepe or Quagliarella, would also consider Matri.
That might not be a bad thing if true, as long as Zenit actually BUYs Matri, Pepe or Quags. Bruno Alves is a beast. Although I also wonder whether it is necessary. Nice to have though. Would rather we dedicate more time looking for a quality left wing back for the defense.

It's a risk, but if we expect him to be the next great Italian keeper you need to show him some faith. If he's as talented as we think he'll do it. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. And if hefails, we should have an older experienced 3rd keeper (like Manninger this season). While Storari was fantastic, I think that most clubs would be more than happy to have somebody like Manninger as their second keeper.
you are supporting an italian club, no way on earth this is going to happen.
I heard Gillet is an option to replace Storari.

A gk needs to play to get better. Not be a second goalkeeper, and since he is to old to play in primavera, a loan would be the only option imo.

Alves is a beast but I would actually prefer to have someone less John Terry alike and more Ramos. Terry is a better defender than Ramos seven days a weak, no doubt. Ramos can be lazy and even poor in defense at occasions not to forget too aggresive. But with our offensive style our vulnerable defense will need athletic built defenders that can manage the runs and counter-attacks. Alves like Terry is strong and a good box-defender but I'm afraid he might look like Terry did during Villas-Boas spell when Terry was pushed up higher on the pitch to act more like Barza (who is the opposite of fast but reads the game like a boss) and the rest of our defense. Terry looked below average when he had to defend outside of his box, he is not fast enough and doesn't read the game good enough. I'm afraid Bruno Alves might be similar so I would actually prefer to get someone more like Caceres even though I know that will cost a few stupid goals backwards. In the long run there might actually be less goals backwards and more forwards with someone like Caceres.
