TBH, seling Storari would be an option only if we kept Leali. Have him get a season under Buffon. He'd get to play Coppa Italia and probably a few more games when Gigi is injured.

That's a huge leap of faith for a young goalkeeper at a title challenging side.
It's a risk, but if we expect him to be the next great Italian keeper you need to show him some faith. If he's as talented as we think he'll do it. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. And if hefails, we should have an older experienced 3rd keeper (like Manninger this season). While Storari was fantastic, I think that most clubs would be more than happy to have somebody like Manninger as their second keeper.

Vucinic has the highest turnover rate in Serie A last season, and i think of the highest in the major leagues in Europe as well. He is not known for possession because he does try those fancy passes that hardly makes it most of the time.
Just quoting this ignored post to highlight the point again. Get frustrated just being reminded of any of the many games he decided to stand still and dribble and then watch a defender just slowly take the ball from him.

They weren't WC till They won championships with a top club such as Juve and CLs so no it's not revisionist
May I say, what a frigging idiotic notion.

Until a player wins at a top club with a top performance for that club they aren't considered WC

No Destro is not good enough, the very minimum for me is Dzeko now.

Absolutely, 100%, Perfectly Logical statement!

I hope Marotta is reading this. We are trying to save money by selling Zieglers and co in 2-3 mil deals and we have a substitution keeper worth 5+m, with a salary similar to Pepe's. On top of that we want to buy a young gun, touted as the next big thing, but not good enough to be given a chance even if we have a 3rd 'experienced' keeper that isn't bad at all?
Besides Buffon's injuries are either behind him or he won't be signing a new contract.
