The only thing I don't get about our club is that we're so set on this 4-4-2 formation. It's ancient and archaic. It seems like our club is stuck in the past. Why aren't they being flexible and switching to a formation that actually suits our players such as a 4-3-3, which in theory would be perfect for our squad. There has to be something to it, I think (I hope) that our management are competent enough to have maybe experimented with it, and saw that it didn't work. Maybe Krasic isn't optimized fully as being a right forward.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner Lugano Chiellini De Ceglie
Vidal Pirlo Marchisio
Krasic Quagliarella Vucinic

It looks pleasant to me. I just don't understand why Conte, or anyone at Juventus, doesn't push for this formation but insist on using a formation where we're putting players out of position, not using them properly, or signing mediocre talent to fill in spots.

What the fuck is going on...
442 is not necessarily archaic, SAF just used that last year and won the PL with ManU, it all depends on how you use it. 433 can also be a disaster with no width and isolated strikers, IMO I'm liking the way Licht and Krasic are playing together, using the width of the pitch.

Baaaaa.

Righto, back to my good deed for the day. Who plays "up top"? The strikers or the GK? :)
i play up straight, but you might get lucky with your 'top' inquiries around here, plenty of that kind around. However i know that a GK is ALWAYS listed top of the order and the forward plays all the way down on the opposition lines. Your trolling ends here as far as i'm concerned.

If you were showing Juve's versus say, Udinese's lineup, how would you write it?
Well, good question. The rules shouldn't change because we'd still be reading out the teams from the formation. I'd list them out the same way, striker down to GK. Since there are only Juventus fans on this board, listing out the home team first in order to distinguish between the home team and the away team isn't a necessity.

Can you give me one good logical reason for why the GK is always listed on top of the order?

So if English is written left to write - are all languages that are written right to left automatically wrong?
Why would other languages be pertinent to this discussion since this is an English speaking board and more importantly, you and I are using English?

not only is ti logical it's natural, i start writing with comes !st and is numbered 1 GK and work my way down accordingly, and even if it didnt make sense i d still use it for the sake of being understood since everyone uses/responds to it, i really cant believe you made me explain that

Could you give me one good logical reason why you always screw vagina and not ass hole when you are having sex (not making baby)?

Who the hell cares GK is top or bottom as long as your instruction/message that you want to deliever is logically clear, logically make sense and is logically understand by 80% of the people.

how old are you? stop these bullshit.

Tuttosport just stated that Juve apparently contacted Chelsea for the services of Malouda. My italina reading isnt the best and translating it isnt any better but apparently 5-6 million for him would be enough for chelsea but Malouda wants a three year deal. Never liked him since his dive on the 06 final but hes a god player again BUT hes to old for a 3 year contract. cant expect this guy to play at a high level all season at his age in that LW position. Nevermind for 3 years IMO anyway.

:tuttosport: I just read this too. Apparently Marotta has already reached an agreement with him. There's no such as thing as too old in quality players, like Del Piero, Nedved, Maldini, Nesta, Seedorf etc. I don't think we should be worried about injuries either, he played every single one of Chelsea's league games last season, and the EPL is a much more physical and faster league. He may not present the best option for the future but he's by far the best we're linked with at the moment. Malouda>Afellay>Arshavin>Bastos>Vargas>Perotti>Elia>Perotti. He can produce results and Juve needs French players. I'd much rather spend €5m on Malouda than Arshavin. He scored 13 in 38 in the EPL last season.
