Chivu would be great. He is young, in my opinion a better defender then Thuram, a leader and young. The only problem is that he wants to stay at Roma and he would be very expensive. I want him, but not at all costs. Else we can Thuram for another season.

I think Juve need, a midfielder for the first team, 2 defenders for back-up and midfielder for back-up.

The defense issue can be solved by:
Signing Kovac and Kuffour for nothing
OR
Signing Kovac and getting Tudor back
OR
Signing Kuffour and getting Tudor back.

Back-up midfielder can be solved by:
Signing Giannichedda for nothing

Midfielder for the first team can be solved by:
Signing a strong holding midfielder like Mascherano
OR
Bringing back Chiellini and pushing Zambrotta up as a winger
OR
Signing a winger like Vicente
OR
Signing a winger like D'Alessandro

D'alessandro is interesting, but he is a real player. He loves the ball.. can be bad, can be good... :D

D'alessandro is a great passer aswell. But Juve-play might not suit him... Rosicky would be good also, but he is weak aswell. But alongside emerson, who wouldn't be? :p

aimar, rosicky, d'alessandro all weak...but that doesnt mean they wont succeed in serie A. Pirlo does okay and he isnt exactly a body builder. zola was a shrimp and still managed well. many players who havent been physically strong have done well.

Riquelme would be great, he has strength etc..but he isnt exactly the fastest bloke you'll see.

Maybe moggi should go for an established serie A player like Pizarro. he has more than proven his worth. my fear is that playing for a midtable club may make him look better than he really is.

but still, no matter which player is rumoured, there is some fault.

The best proof that plysically weak players can survive in Serie A is Del Piero.
