Barcelona pathetic is obviously wrong, as they are not pathetic.I am not saying they are gods, I'm saying they are not pathetic, and nobody in their right mind would argue with that fact, come on, they are unbeaten in the CL this year with only one draw!! not bad for being pathetic is it? 
The Roma result IMO was a fluke, Valencia are certainly better than them, but did not take their chances, and were poor at the back (in a similar way to Juve - Man U)
Valencia are not overrated as they can play football we can only dream of, they are often a joy to watch and excel at both ends of the pitxh!

that was last season ,, they only have aimar and without him the team really sucks ,, no attacking mentality (see how goal they scored this season ), poor defence ,, they keep spoiling the games for opponent over and over like arsenal's game home and away ,, i think they reached this level of CL by luck or because of thier fans ( they are fantastic) .
I don't care which team we will meet. any draw is very tough, and you should know there are not easy games at this stage. every team can lose and win, at every pitch.
But bloody hell I don't want Milan! I have a bad feeling about this, because it's not the league. We are able to win them in the league, but when it's champions league, it's a totally different story.
tomorrow I hope we won't draw Milan, the rest is not important IMO.

With Arsenal out... I simply don't care that much .
I believe we have more than it takes to beat all three opponents over two matches. Conversely- they all have what it takes to knock us out as well, even if I believe Milan are in a VERY bad position to do so currently, as our strenghts are exactly punishing weaknesses like theirs.
If Barca show up to be the best Barca can be- then they can simply outmanouver us home or away. They do ahve injury problems though- most noticeably Puyol and Enrique, and having watched them many times this season in La Liga... all I can say is that based on the laws of averages- I don't see us fail against them.
Valencia is more a case of them being similar to us. Defence relies on experience over physical ability... same with us.
Midfield is craftsmen over guile with threats from the left wing through Vicente or Kily whereas our right side with Camo and Thuram can be equally inspired.
Their attack is based on the ingenuity of Aimar and the brute force of Carew/Mista. Our attack is based on the tireless incursions by Nedved, the trickery and grandeur of Alex if back in Alex form and the finishing terror that is Trezeguet. Evenly matched encounters between rather similar sides were I think we have more individual talent.
Only downside about Milan is that it will be too big a thing perhaps. With three games between the two biggest italian teams in little time- this will be more than a quarter final.
I'd REALLY, REALLY like to meet them on the one hand, and on the other I'd prefer them to meet Inter because 3 derbies in 4 matches will finish Inter too in the scudetto campaign. That's what I think at least.
But in the end- we can beat them all if we perform like we can.

Man.U vs. Real Madrid
Valencia vs. Juventus
Milan vs. Inter

Carew is a major threat in the air. A shame Tudor isn't ready/trusted to take him out. The way you carachterize Trez, I'm surprised you don't see the same danger for the Valencia's men though. Trez can hurt them just as much in the air, and he has MUCH more skill than Carew who is essentially a big chunk of meet. Honestly- apart from Zalayeta it's difficult to find worse finishing than Carew's. Still- respect for his ability and of course he has been very influentail in recent CL games. The fact that Arsenal's defence was quite far from it's ideal state didn't make it more difficult for him though. Even if I disagree with your characterisation of Trez as much as you do mine (ehem... that's not astro physics as one prompts the other ), I don't quite see why his goals wouldn't be enough? Has Aimar, Saviola or Rivaldo been as good or influentail as DP this season? Me thinks not.
Sure, but so do they. Who would expect anything else from a CL quarter final? Look at the starting lineups of the 3 teams we can face and tell me you can't find weaknesses that either compares with ours or are equal to them?
As I said- Barca at peak form is a terrible opponent. You need look no further than the Primera standings to see that it's not necessarily that frequent a phenomena however. But turn it around and tell me Barca hasn't got defensive issues on their own?
Again- who thought a CL quarter final would be a walk in the park? On the other hand- does number 3 In Italy or number 4 and 9 in Spain really have to get us into fits of panic as holding champions and current Italian league leaders? I think not.

I always choose my words carefully but it seems some ppl on here do not read carefully but I do expect more from you Glen as i find your posts entertaining if not a bit too much praising
I said we should hope the greta Dp shows up and you have to admit that there are some times in which the Dp who attracts a lot of critictism does show up in matches so i do not know where your bringing up his achievements is coming from, we need him to on top of his game for us to do well , thats all I am saying
Trez is a far better goal scorer than Carew no doubt about that but he does not worry a defence like Carew can because unlike Trez, Carew has the physical build to harass any defender nothing to do with his ability but he is a handful

I do not know if tyou watch our matches and if you are impressed, well good on you but we cannot continue this way if we want to win the Cl as already we have lost to Man u twice, Newcastle, Basle and we keep on conceding which is not a good sign , well this time its knock out and we cannot rely on others so its time to perform so much better

Is this what I think it cause proplems, not your ideas (also when they are silly) cause I guess everybody of us write no sense or not objective things sometimes, and that is normal in a forum, like is normal to disagree; but I see you as the only one who say them writing "It is obvious that", "you must realize that" or this sort of things, like you knew everything and ther's not discussion, you are right even when you're against the evidence, and all the rest of the world is wrong...
