Growing up I watched a lot of footie. EPL, La Liga, Serie A. Slowly my interest in watching other leagues and other teams thinned out and the product of that today is me just watching Juve. Other than International tournaments, it's very hard for me to watch a regular football game where Juve doesn't play. With that being said, I don't intend to ever abandon the Old Lady.

After loosing 4-1 to Fulham I was joking with my friends how "my team" destroyed Stuttgart 4-0 the other night and that I was nervous after watching Juve game just because it is my friend's favorite team. But after every game I love Juve more and more!

As I said I was joking that I was a Barcelona fan, thought it would be understandable after mentioning 4-0 and Stuttgart.

PS. What do you think of Gin Tonic? :D

I don't know what happened to me but I can't drink enough beers to get drunk, my stomach just won't let me.

And I know about Jack and Chivas but too expensive.

Honestly? Never. I've seen my father and uncles and they're still supporting and showing interest in their teams so I don't see why I wouldn't stick with Juve even when I'm old.

I have already lost a big part of my interest, not because of Calciopoli, not because of the current awful form, I'm just not the type of fan I used to be anymore. I like Juve, I like to get the chance to watch them despite the poor coverage of Serie A games in Iran but I'm not obsessed with them anymore. However I'm not going to pick another team to support because the reason for me not being so interested in Juve like the past is that I'm simply not a football fan like I used to be.

:D

I actually wrote something to blast at you for comparing fanhood to the taste in music but the more I wrote the less it made sense :p

It is actually the same but for some reason people are always condemning those who change their favorite teams but no one disapproves of changing the type of music you used to listen to. Just take a look at Juve fans here. Most of us don't like the way Juve plays; so conservative, so coward, so boring and you know what, Juve has always played like this even when it was a much stronger club. What is this to stick to a team which you don't like its style of play? But people will label you "a fake fan" if you shift to a team which is playing in the way you prefer.

Many of us started becoming fans because of some certain players so why can't we stop supporting the club when those players leave/retire? It's just ridiculous but I'm myself categorized in the same level with those who don't tend to change the club they are a fan of :D
