I shan't bother having a philosophy on the whole world, since the only thing I can directly influence is my own life, so I do the best I can. I know this is probably gonna induce a lot of and , but this is honestly what I try to live by:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' ; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" - Luke 10:27
"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. - Matthew 6:31,33
Okay here's a non-biblical one I like, from our very own Emerson
"Success: To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!"
This isn't exactly my definition of success, but I like the principles stated therein
Depends on who you are, and on your perspective. I actually thought a bit about this on my recent trip to China, seing extremely poor Sichuan farmers live their daily life. I'm sure you realize that I'm gonna throw out some old-ass "what about the poor" clicheès, but that's because they make sense. A scary large percentage of the world are extremely poor, and can't afford to have the life's a ***** attitude, as they probably wouldn't manage to keep going. I'm a pessimistic person, I just can't help it, so I try to stay positive and extract joy from what I can. I don't see what being as pessimistic as possible will do good. When you think about it I'm sure you have it pretty good.

You always get alittle peice of paper inside that shows the pictures of each and gives each a name, and then a little discription about it.
See that's the thing, you don't know what you've got until you get it, and then since you know afterwards what's coming your way, it gives you some kind of false sense of security that you know in advance what life's gonna give you, when in reality, said information is only revealed once you've 'opened the box'

I guess. But really have YOU ever opened a box of chocolates and now known what they are ? Its silly but then again all such expressions are. Im just tired, bored and frustrated right now
