But how do you know which ones are hallucinations and which ones are real? How do you decide on that? Medical record of the person who have seen it? You take vaticans word? Maybe doctors? what is your criteria to conclude which ones are genuine?

And if you believe that someone genuinely saw god, doesnt that make you 100% believer?
I would have to have experienced it first hand to answer your question.

I believe some people have genuinely experienced God. But I will never rue out the diminishingly small possibility that I just might be wrong. Like I said, I think it it's unintelligible to do so.

You have too... you are 100% sure no Supernatural/God created universe so you should provide explanation which prove 0% possibility of God existence.
Whats with this bull... You are the ones who say there is, you have to come up with evidence. If someone came up to you and said I am your god, did you have to give him evidence that he is not? Or does he have to come up with them first to present a valid case?

Why do I have to explain the universe? I have no problem not knowing how the universe began. Hell, I don't even know what I'll have for breakfast tomorrow. I'm ignorant, sorry to disappoint you.

Maybe i dont understand the word genuinely? does it mean certain? so if you are certain that someone saw god, that makes you 100% right? Maybe you are not certain that people saw him? That would explain a lot.

God cannot even be defined. Ask someone (as I did in this thread) to describe the god they believe in and I didn't get a single answer. These people claim to believe in something but they can't tell you what. They have no idea what they believe in. And so what is the meaning of believing in something about which you can know nothing? That's logically impossible. I can only believe something if I can first understand what it is I'm supposed to believe in.

If I ask you "do you believe in X?". And you say "what is X?". And I say "We can never know what X is, X is beyond human understanding". Would you then say "I believe in X"?
Do you believe you are hungry?

Do you believe you are in love?

Do you believe in what is going through your mind at this very moment?

One feels hungry. Not believes in it.

One feels in love. There are people who believe in it i suppose, but generally you can feel love.

the last is out of my reach.

Who told you that? God is an eternal, timeless, spaceless, infinite, omniscient, supernatural being that has created the universe and has created mankind.

What more of a definition would you want?

A definition that is actually intelligible. The definition you gave makes absolutely no sense to me. I cannot grasp it. That something is "timeless" does not tell you anything about what it is. It tells you what it isn't. And the same goes for all the other words you used.

Give me an example of something that is timeless and maybe I can understand that word.

Ofcourse I am not 100% sure that certain people saw him but I still believe that some people did. I maintain, despite the fact that I do believe people have witnessed God, that I will never know for sure. You can say that I believe in God 99.999999% but no matter what, it will never be 100% because I just might be crazy, who knows?

    It's not difficult to grasp.

Very well, God is loving, caring, forgiving, powerful, compassionate, good, fair, and great. Satisfied?

You believe you exist? I'm pretty sure you are not... prove me wrong if you can.

Martin please do you even call this an answer.

We have a tiny little ball which bangs to create universe as we know today so where the hell did this ball came from.... oh sorry it can't came from anywhere otherwise this will mean some kind of superpower created it the right word must be an evolution, great... to evolve you MUST have a starting point which you obviously lack in your argument.

It seems its hard for me, because you say, you believe that certain people saw him, you are not sure, so which is it? I will ask you a simple question. Are you certain that people saw jesus do REAL miracles? If not, why not? And if you are not certain of jesus, how can you be even remotely certain about other people who came later in time?

But this contradicts everything I know about god.
But you know nothing about God unless you believe in him, which you don't.
I cannot say I think "X" is an ungrateful, sadistic bastard that deserves to rot in hell If I have said I don't believe "X" exists.

I'll tell you what, You say that God might exist, and then we can talk about what you know about him. Because as far as I'm concerned you know absolutely nothing about Him because he does not exist.

Why? I don't believe in any supernatural stuff. Not ghosts, not UFOs, not even Santa Claus. A supernatural explanation is the same as no explanation at all. Because you cannot explain the supernatural, can you?
