That's one way of doing it. I tend to write it out cause it's more old school. But if I film-score, it'll definitely be on the computer.

It's been four months so far and I have all the melodies planned out. But that's not the hard part, it's the orchestra's rehearsals that is the problem

I'll definitely get it recorded, and send that shit out to labeling companies.
You can produce it with MIDI no doubt, film-scorers do that, because it's faster to get everything on a computer because they have like what, 3-6 weeks to prepare for everything ? Plus it's cheaper than using a full-orchestra. Hans Zimmer does that shit.
