Just this morning I had one of those great, simple Portugal moments. The morning light is beautiful. The streets are unique out my balcony. Weathered and a little dirty, but they still carry so much charm regardless. Meanwhile, one of the many attractive Lisboeta women stylishly walks by, wearing a typical ensemble of a pretty floral summer dress and Converse trainers ... because they're so practical on the punishing calçadas.
It's practically therapeutic. Lifts your outlook for the day.
Yeah, coffee and avocado. I hear you. And here that's also good, cheap wine.

Coffee literally is the national drink here -- where most nations Coca-Cola is the biggest brand, here it's Delta coffee. And avocados? Yeah, we definitely have the avocado toast bug here. You need to come!
Good luck with prison colony guards. Truth be told, I haven't technically left the country since before Covid myself anyway.
