based on my research you are only allowed 65mph or 110kph in NY that's just sad. I admire murica because you can shoot Obama if he enters your land without permission but this severe limitation of your freedom....how do you put up with this. If I pay for the whole speedometer I’m going to use the whole speedometer

Everyone goes over the speed limit at all times , you just have to hope you don't get pulled over by a state trooper on the highway because that's not a fun time at all. 55* on highways. On the street is 25 because De Blasio wants that cash from speed cameras. But this is what the Belt Parkway looks like so it doesn't make a difference at the end of the day anyway. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.595...4!1sEfJaWKbAqrnNb7j0RZ_9Sw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
I probably average about 35 or so on streets and maybe 65-70 on the highway.

140kph = fuel saving
180kph = cruising
also 180 = plumber in his Ford Transit driving home from work at 4pm
220kph = fun mode
250kph = you're allowed on the left lane but take care, there is probably already some Avant yelling at you to move your snail ass out of the way

I'd never drive that fast, you're not surviving an accident at that speed. I hit 100mph before on a flat, open road and my car started shaking, I'm good
