I get the stressing. That's the worst part. The reality is rarely as bad as the mind races towards. Hang in there.
You're likely being oversensitive to things. I had a weird sore on the back of my tonsils that wouldn't go away recently, and I had a passing thought that it could be like throat cancer or something. Turns out it was a tonsil stone - who knows those things existed - and it popped out of my mouth over the weekend. No biggie.
Fortunately I was too busy to freak.

How likely would it be to get tickets? I'm assuming impossible???
I was going to spend my days at beach and bring back the more attractive cariocas I meet back to my hotel (booked 5 star penthouse suite on cocacabana) but if I've a chance to go a Libertadores semi that would be amazing.
