It's all a numbers game when it comes to Arab immigrants. Most of them are poor and uneducated. So of course they're going to increase crime rates and be a huge burden on the host country.
It is numbers in the sense there's a breaking point if attained the migrant feels he can live insulated and not have to assimilate, and imo that's what creates the problem

In my opinion, there is a big storm brewing in Europe. Just too much happening in a short period of time to not be something bigger and more meaningful. This might be obvious, but it still surprises me how far this stuff has gone out of hand.

Italy now voted for Salvini (right wing) who has been in quarrels with the French over immigration the last weeks and basically told them to Fu#k off. Hungary is shutting their borders, Austria too. Poland is having quite som scuffles with the EU the last years. Sweden is basically fu#cked if they dont stop their negative trend of terrible integration. Citys like Malmo have now gone totally out of control with gang shootings every day and there are several completely isolated no-go zones where there is no ethnic Swedish people and police have totally lost control in several swedish towns. Then you have the Tommy Robinson incidents in the UK, which is bringing a ton of negative media attention and causing a split in the population. There are offcourse loads of these types of news popping up everyday troughout Europe. This is just the things i have read about or stumbled upon the last weeks. The development is really alarming. Its also quite hard sometimes to distinguish between political propaganda and actual news.

Personally i dont see a positive end to this, but more hate, violence, and isolated societies, if the EU continue to push for their ridicolous policies. After living in England, Norway and France the last years i see the same patterns all over, but in different scales offcourse. The outcome seems to be the same: more angry people being fed up with their politicians and less belief in the system. Surely reminds me of a political situation i have read about before, that didnt go down well in history.

Maybe im paranoid, but to me its all quite worrying.

Btw, what I disagreed with in your initial post wasn't the parallel societies and integration problems? It was the statement that refugees in Sweden are destroying the base that the country is built on; I thought you were definitely overstating the effect of such a small portion of the population there. The second was that they were a drain on the state's resources? I'd really like to see if there are any facts and statistics that back this up.

But I agree and empathize with the general sentiment about parallel societies, I've been to France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium where that is apparent by just going to some of these places. A big part of the problem is geographic proximity and the low cost of immigration relatively, this attracts a mass of uneducated immigrants from countries like Morocco, Algeria, Somalia and Tunisia. I can understand why the perception of the general populace would be that these people cause a strain on resources, an increase in crime rates etc, but I strongly doubt that is backed up by reliable statistics.

By the way, the Specator looks to me like the UK/European version of Breitbart; in fact Bannon actually has a featured article there. The article there is nothing but anecdotal references to crimes committed in immigrant populated neighborhoods. Nothing of substance at all IMO.
Statistics about these issues are always going be skewed. Impossible to avoid really, considering

- An immigrant could be someone from Morocco, but it could also be someone from the Netherlands. As far as the stats are concerned, both are "foreign".
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation "immigrants" have, more often than not, adopted the nationality of the country they live in. So the stats, be that crime or anything else, will treat them as "regular" citizens.

It’s actually very Well backed. I guess that’s why some people says statistics are racist.
At this point in many countries in europe you can't even attach ethnicity to statistics cause it's "racist", it gives the political class all the deniability needed from ever having a proper discussion. Can dismiss every argument by lack of correlation prof when its very hard to actually do the correlating. Head in the sand syndrome

I think it's even against the law in sweden for journalists to mention ethnicity when covering a crime.

It is numbers in the sense there's a breaking point if attained the migrant feels he can live insulated and not have to assimilate, and imo that's what creates the problem
No doubt. Societies are an ecosystem and there is definitely a certain threshold of how much and how fast "foreign influence" can be introduced before the balance is threatened.

People like to believe society is a constant when it really isn't. Europe takes for granted its values and society, this notion that those two don't need to be consistently reaffirmed and reasserted because they are simply "superior" is problematic, the mass number of immigrants makes it almost impossible since as you said it allows them to have those parallel societies. The volume of immigrants is definitely the main problem in integration, cultural-relativism is another.

I'm gonna have eye surgery on my left eye tomorrow

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corneal_collagen_cross-linking

It's apparently due to a corneal bulge. I was experiencing pain my in left eye for days and thought it was just migraine, turns out it was something completely different which I dint expect at all. They're gonna do this on my right eye too as its in the initial stages of keratoconous while my left eye is in the advanced stage. It's nothing serious but after having the surgery, I'd be experiencing a lot of pain for a day or two according to the doctor and have a blurry vision for the next 4-5 days. I should be fine within the next 7-10 days though so I'm gonna miss all the forthcoming world cup games. I'll be away for a while. See you all around soon
