Mucho cool. Yosemite Natl Park, and especially its central valley, is loaded with tourists in the spring and summer when you might run into the likes of Kyle. 
In the winter, it was covered with snow, much of the park was inaccessible, but we largely got a lot of the place to ourselves. Did some snow hikes to lakes, etc.

Oh, and the worst thing after an obvious tourist is one that tries to act like a local.
u could go with food poisoning matt. symptoms include - headahce, fever, vomitting and diarrhea. medications - dehydrants ( diarrhea and vomitting), paracetemol (fever and headache), and metronidazole ( actual treatement for food poisoning caused by E.coli should give u around 3 day excuse
incase u get asked ok dont bring it up unless u r asked though. if u r asked about the dehydrant ( its a mixture of ions to replenish the ones u lose ok!!) if u forget u can tell him you have been drinking gatorde, or 7 up, or sprite to make up for that.

metronidazole is Flagyl ( note name may differ in yr country but in most nations its under that name i,e thats the trade name)

u know i just realized as much as things are crazy here u can treat yr self with out going to a physician to get a prescription but i highly doubt u need that for this. if memory serves me right paracetamol is available over the counter, dehydrants are also over the counter, flagyl might not be although here u can get it as if u r buying panadol so all in all i think he can get away with this i honestly dont know how it is in T&T.
