You'd love it here. Temperature can reach 47-48 sometimes. You could come here for a tan i suppose.
 nah just ask gio about that!! he was there for 14 days i only joined him for 3 days and i got a tan and he was still white!! he only got red. the funny thing is he loved the sun while i hated going out during the day. no one loves the weather he has.

the problem for me is not the heat, i got used to that living in saudi for the majority of my life. the weather there is much hotter, the problem here is the humidity thats the deal breaker for me. add to the mix traffic and u r living ahmed worst nightmare. i'm guessing its the same weather for you too fred minus the traffic jams.

on the plus side though, every where now including taxi's is air conditioned do its not all that bad. yeah sure traffic is still dense but as long as the ac is on you r perfectly fine.

Thats manageable, I hope, its similar to Swedens right now. But the most important thing is, how hot it is in the shade, and how dry the wind is (even when very hot here in Sweden, the wind is still bit breezy).

And Bisco, I dont mind the traffic, just something else to get used to.

Btw, you are the right person to ask. A neighbourhood called Masr jadid (not sure of the spelling), is it close to downtown/centre of Cairo? Or do you have to long bus trips to get there?

You got that right. Humidity is a lot worse than the heat, and i think that Dubai and Sharjah are probably the most humid cities in the world. Fuck the weather is terrible here during the summer.

I'm Scottish, so I don't tan; I just go bright red.

That's not too bad.

Is it humid or a reasonably dry heat?
this is also for you osman! its a bit dry these days but dont be surprised if u feel its getting humid bec its just normal considering how close everything is to the nile.

i think u will be fine osman. if u have any enquires please shoot. i should be leaving soon to my parents but i will hit you up with my best friends number in case u need anything.

hurgadah is waaaaaay much hotter huh gio?!?! :D:D thats the only kind of heat i can live with, beach,, gio the wingman, and hot chicks. :D

A friend of mine - who is your stereotypical pale skinned, red haired Scot - really struggled with the heat when he was in Egypt.
yeah they struggle a lot but, if he was to come again he would'nt struggle as much. the first time is always the shocker i suppose. :D the same will happen to me if i ever come to scotland while u and boz might wear a normal sweat shirt i would need a heavy jacket to make it thru the day. u guys got acustomed to your weather while i got used to our kind of weather thats why if u put me any where stretching from morocco to bahrain i will survive easily.
