Yea, but I think we all drive a hell of a lot more, so it's more of an obstacle than it is a "fun" thing to do. I mean, I have to drive daily for something...

You guys can mostly walk down the street or catch a taxi/train/subway.
True. Driving in Belgium isn't particularly fun when I have to do it (also because most Belgians are poor drivers IMO), so I can see where you're coming from.

I'd love to do a huge roadtrip in the States though.

Here, there we so many people waiting for the dirving test they handed out licenses if you'd been driving for 5 or more years

Happy 4th of July, I'll be heading to TGIs for unrelated reasons but I'll toast the point in History where a lot of stuff started to go downhill :p

Just got back from my friends place. Had a nice time talking with some old school friends and having a beer with em. Had a pretty wild argument with a friend about cricket, which I eventually won. I'm quite buzzed right now.

Byrone? I heard he was busy with work and social life. So he's posting less here.

Driving through the States is awesome, it's just that we are so big.
Just woke up. Slept for 13 hours straight. Missed most of the Spain-Paraguay match too. Need to get something to eat, and then head over to a friends place.
Damn, how did you manage that?
Oh yeah, and Happy 4th of July, you Americans!
    Thanks, niggramdonnis.
    so where's Byrone?
    I want to know too.

This is the ultimate. I've done half from NC to New Orleans. There's plenty of parallel state and US highways to do the small town experience as well.

Then there's the desert experience with the taste of middle america...

And of course the Bob Dylan expressway....
