Yup.

We did it over Christmas a couple of years ago, so it was quite cool to have a BBQ on the beach for Xmas dinner.

I'm not big on beach holidays, though, so a week was plenty long enough for me on that one.

No idea. My folks were paying.

My trip to America (SF, LA, NY) for three weeks cost about £1,300 for the hotels and flights only, I think. It's the only big trip I've paid for.

Lol yeah I'm expecting that. The heat today here in Uppsala killed me all day, and my sisters kept taunting me that I wont survive Egypt at all in comparison.

I like Cicero alot, interesting dude, prolly Andy does too, but in the case of his sig, I think he is just using it as an analogy for the current state of the US and its govt, its policies and economy etc. Its a pretty telling similarity.

yup thats the only thing u will have to deal with at the moment although the weather is not as hot as it was last summer thats for sure. as for the traffic well yeah good luck with that its a living night mare specially int he summer bec every one is out, boy do schools lock up a lot of people in there homes.

the best time is during winter break! if u hate the sun. even the traffic is much much lesser bec some people are still in school and/or uni so its pretty much empty.

I'm fine up to around 30 C but haven't been anywhere hotter than that.

You'd love it here. Temperature can reach 47-48 sometimes. You could come here for a tan i suppose.

nah just ask gio about that!! he was there for 14 days i only joined him for 3 days and i got a tan and he was still white!! he only got red. the funny thing is he loved the sun while i hated going out during the day. no one loves the weather he has.

the problem for me is not the heat, i got used to that living in saudi for the majority of my life. the weather there is much hotter, the problem here is the humidity thats the deal breaker for me. add to the mix traffic and u r living ahmed worst nightmare. i'm guessing its the same weather for you too fred minus the traffic jams.

on the plus side though, every where now including taxi's is air conditioned do its not all that bad. yeah sure traffic is still dense but as long as the ac is on you r perfectly fine.
