Yes, and we pay for roads too. I bet you don't have that kind of ridiculous measure, because some people just prefer to stay home so why the feck should they pay for roads? Just collect a toll once they exit their house!

i always felt out of place comparisons made for longwinded useless arguments; roads have nothing to do with professional/university training; with no roads you starve university is an investment in one's future just like setting up a business, and i wouldnt want to amortize it over 40 years at 15%.

That's a good idea. Government just places a toll on you every time you leave your house via your RFID chip. Or perhaps we could have a tax for every time you use the restroom (carbon tax on gaseous emissions).

We're going to have to get out of this massive debt somehow!

You have public schools don't you? How do you enjoy amortizing that one?

It's not a serious argument. Some people happen to think higher universal should be available to anyone who wants it. Just like elementary school. And therefore it makes perfect sense to fund it publicly.

So this is funny. Greece played Macedonia a few days ago and as some of you guys already know Greece doesn't approve of them using the name Macedonia cuz they think the name Macedonia is a greek province. Anyway, look what Greek TV did when they broadcasted the game a few days ago. Kind of childish.

Have you read the exchange of strong views conected to that?

Makes interesting, eye-popping reading.

you still pay considerably at public schools, but state taxes along with real estate ones are very reasonable here
So do the same for universities and you have it made.

Frankly I don't care how you organize yourself, point is you already have this "shocking" mechanism in place so why pretend it's unthinkable.

Then perhaps instead of getting money back through taxes, the government can issue you tradeable carbon credits.

With the current War-On-Savers by the Fed, we might as well have a Gulag Casino Economy where everyone becomes a speculator on stocks, commodities and carbon credits. It's not like people are going to have any real jobs anyway.

Free schooling for everyone is unthinkable, in the measure where we all have to pay for it all for the rest of our lives. the cheapest school you ll find will still charge 8 to 9 thousand dollars a year susbsidized and all

By the way, this is the Gulag Casino Economy Model developed by Max Keiser.

The Casino Gulag model works as follows:

First, the huge debts incurred by consumers around the world and most particularly in the US and UK will continue to increase in size. The price of credit (interest rates) will never rise enough to change the behaviour of debt addicts plus, the Federal Government will, vis a vis the ongoing bailouts and restructuring of the public and private markets, transfer tens of trillions of dollars of unfunded pension and Medicare/Medicaid liabilities – that are now hidden from view due to 'off the books accounting’ – onto the public’s balance sheet by selling these debts to America’s biggest creditors; China, Japan, and the Mid East countries.

America will be surprised to wake up one day and find that each one of them owes these creditors hundreds of thousands of dollars on top of the hundreds of thousans they alrady owe on mortgages, credit cards and cars. Aiding in this 'bait and switch’ will be the religious supremacists in America who will push a revisionist message transforming the meaning of the concept of 'original sin’ to be interpreted as 'original debt’ meaning that to be born into debt is to be disabused of any doubt of God’s (read: Visa’s) existence.

America already has the biggest and fastest growing prison population in the world and these prisons, like America’s various wars of convenience, are hugely profitable for the private prison operators here and abroad. Why not extend the prison brand and lifestyle beyond rap music and lopsided baseball caps to include all the amenities of the casino industry?

How? The growing prison population; expanding due to law changes that will criminalize all late payments, will be given cheap online accounts and free gifts of dollars from the government to speculate on online casinos sponsored by the Golden Nugget and Goldman Sachs.

'Justice’ will be in the hands of the prisoner who will not be collecting their winnings in the form of cash, but in seconds, days, and weeks lopped off their prison sentences. Losses will result in prison term extensions. 'Justice’ itself will be taken public on NASDAQ; ticker symbol, JSTC.

The return of time for dollars, per this model, will be very profitable for the Golden Nugget-Goldman Sachs axis of prison gulag debt slave underwriters on Wall St.

Additionally, a gulag-casino reality TV show that features debt slaves winning their freedom with winning bets can add to the bottom line. As long as the MSM and gulag-casino operators push the idea that everyone in prison has a 'fair’ chance of gambling their way out of prison, Americans will never question the underlying premise that the only way this works; the only way this model 'grows’ the economy is to incarcerate everyone will never be questioned.

We have free schooling for everyone

Without government mismanagement i might add, we could pay a lot less for other things.

We also have free water and healthcare.

It's funny, isn't it? The richest country on earth, in the history of the world, and yet everything is too expensive. Can't afford higher education, can't afford health care, can't afford good basic education. And all these things are possible in quite a few other countries, makes you think what exactly is going on over there.

And California is bankrupt. Maybe they should shut down the public schools to save a little money, eh?
