Actually, South Park is about the only program I know that makes fun of Canadians. And then it works because few others have bothered to do such a thing. What makes it funny in South Park is that Canadians generally don't give us a whole lot to make fun of.

It is. The joke is that Canadians are pretty close to a mirror image of Americans in a number of ways, so we have to resort to making fun of them for silly things like fur hats, Canadian bacon, and donuts. John Candy was in how many movies about fictitious wars between U.S. and Canada?

Another example from last Sunday's episode: in the background you can hear a speech by JFK at the time. It was broadcast on all TV networks simultaneously in 1963. Which, interestingly enough, was the customer demand of one of the prospective advertising clients earlier in the program.
Those kind of subtleties in the show are never accidental. Which is one of the main reasons I really like it.

Pretty much what we're all doing here on the forum. Except I don't think you need an excuse to enjoy something or that you have to be eligible to enjoy it legitimately. These are juvenile games that kids play to determine who will and will not belong to their very special club. "Gloryhunter" is the instrument of the saddest bunch of amateur elitist wannabees.
