nah i dont need it, it just that i have no idea wtf im doing and several new concepts are taught everyday. first time i opened a terminal was during the prep module, just need to try to keep pushing forward. im sure things will start sticking once we start doing project base learning.

i understand loops, arrays, functions, objects and conditionals, i get what the individual chunks do, but once you start combining them and problem solving i almost always have a very hard time starting the problem solving process
You have to build things, that's the only way it's going to click. There's a reason these jobs pay well, because it is difficult to master.
https://www.codewars.com/

Sign up there and see if you could do some of the easy ones, just to get some practice solving some problems with the knowledge that you have. What is this for, front end dev?

"Cheat" when you get the job, for now trying things on your own and failing, but then learning from it is far more valuable than just seeing "completed" on an assignment.

appreciate it broski!!

yeah only reason i cheat is to move forward in the program, i'd never come up with a solution myself without looking at chat gpt or my brother's log in for solution. usually, i always make sure i kinda understand the gist of each line of code, and when I'm completely lost and don't know what a line does exactly, i ask chat gpt to explain as if i'm new and it usually helps, it feels impossible to do if i dont use either of those tools i have because i have no reference point other than a super basic prep module i had to complete before the program started

why are you getting into something you are too lazy to learn why not go back to pumping shitcoins?
look at this fake jew trying to undermine a black man trying to do better :andyandbarcelona:

seriously though, I'm not to lazy to learn, it's literally completely foreign concepts which i have had no exposure to, I'm sure things will start getting better, only on week 1 out of 12.

been cheating my ass off with chatgpt and my brother's log in cause he attended same program

i'm currently in the middle of a 2hr times test with 5 question, question 0 to question 4. There is 34 mins remaining and i haven't even completed question 0. I am typing away because the camera is on and it gotta look like I am working

bros how fucked am i, here i am shitposting on tuz, how over is it?!:mute:
coding, you basically have to practice over and over until it makes sense . there’s tons of practice tutorials online for pretty much any language you want to learn. you can do it, just have to grind a bit to start

You’re gonna have to find the interest and motivation, otherwise it’s gonna be a slog with a career you hate. So my suggestion would be to expose yourself to topics of interest and dive deeper …. Even in things like video games if that’s what makes you curious.

Otherwise you may as well be hacking up sugar cane on a Bacardi plantation in Puerto Rico.

I missed you :touched:

@Mohad i have strict daily deadlines, and i'm doing to keep up, i only use the answers and chat gpt to understand what i'm seeing/doing, EVERYTHING is new to me, i'm starting at ground 0, most my cohort already know a couple languages or fresh comp sci graduates. i intend on taking this seriously, i have no intention of being in a classroom again

@swag i'm looking forward to the first project so it can help my learning

Also Learning something that compex is not a race, so pace yourself according to your level and put the time in to grow gradually in the grind.

And short cuts and shit like that is one thing as a kid in school, but it's just detrimental as an adult trying to learn a skill for a living. Just cheating yourself in that, not them.

But I genuinely wish you good luck walalo, you got this, just give it your all.

 Oh. Yes it definitely will get better then. If this is your first exposure to it though I'd definitely recommend looking into some supplementary material, maybe watch some YouTube videos on subjects you're having difficulty with. Sometimes just slight differences in how things are explained can make everything click together in my experience.

Your first mistake was not paying for that shit with your own money
Dunno about mistake but you’re right I’d value it more and I would have come prepared for it had I paid 14k for it.
Either way talked to one of the instructors, she told me there’s always a few fresh newbies like me and I shouldn’t expect being job ready just with this program. I’ll have to do a lot of work post-bootcamp. Inshallah it’ll go well, think my expectations are pretty tempered.
