found potential job opportunity that i have chance of getting pay is very good, would be great experience, room to advance but the commute is awful.

Its not that far but traffic means an hour each way if not more. :disagree:

in a difficult spot. Have a fresh lease with a friend and the primary reason we are in the location we are is its convenience to my current job.

I was kind of an insistent dick about that initially so to cut and run now feels bad.

I would kill myself if I had that commute.
It's not THAT bad, when the trains are running ok at least. I just sleep.

Nah local.

Weird fact, apparently my great grandfather worked in the same building when it was owned by Standard Oil. :boh:
Something similar happened to me, it's such a strange coincidence. All of the buildings that exist in such a big city, and you manage to get the same one.

Not that it's bad but it's fucking horrible. You work 8 hours and spend 3 hours traveling? That's huge waste of time and money. That's almost half of your shift and half of your wages doing nothing. Anything above 45min is horrible IMO.
It takes me an hour to drive into work. I don’t mind it, you listen to music and time flies. Plus if you have a job you don’t mind going to, it’s worth it. AFL doesn’t even have to drive, he just takes the train. Easy time to spend reading, watching tv, or doing whatever you do at home.

Sure it's a waste of time, but what can really be done about it? Costs me the same either way.

:agree: Well bus to a train, but same idea. Smart phones and Nintendo changed the game.

@AFL_ITALIA is lucky not to live in Argentina .
Once I was waiting for a bus 45 min (plus 1h of travel).
