That sounds interesting.

What exactly would that entail?
i haven't chosen yet. but the one i'm looking at is 25$ / hour x 8 hours per week (total tax is somewhere around 55% though ). they work in the Sahara region of Africa, trying to decrease the rate of mothers/babies dying of preventable diseases. I'd just be phoning members or people who are members of other, similar, NGO's to explain / see if they feel like chipping in a few bucks for some vaccines.

Hey, if I was getting paid to advertise that I'd be writing 'GTA V' in smegma all over the city walls.

Not my own of course.
All I'm saying is that GTA is paying people hundreds of thousands of dollars to get armies of people like yourselves to willingly give them free advertising amongst their social circles, and you haven't even bothered to ask what your cut is.

GTA has not paid a cent for the advertising of GTA V so far, the only reason I put it is because I'm excited about the game. The only details they have put about GTA V is 1 trailer 7 months ago and it certainly hasn't been advertised or talked about anymore by R* games as they have been pushing Max Payne 3 like people's lives depend on it. And to be honest, I don't really care, I'm just psyched about a new GTA.

Yes, and why pay a whore if she'll sleep with you for free?

GTA has a viral strategy where marketing execs are paid handsomely to convert folks like yourself into willing advertising puppets to do their bidding.

And to be honest, I don't really care, I'm just psyched about a new GTA.
Not to be a total downer on that -- I honestly think it's awesome to have things in life we get that excited about.

But I just hate seeing people getting played by a big corporation like that -- and worse, that the people getting played don't even realize it.
