Especially Joey's is greatness

First link is down but Joey one is greatness indeed  In this song he reminds me of a young Mos Def, when he rapped with urgency and such stuttering passion.

Remember these guys? I fucking love their sound. Gary Numan was awesome.

I've been going through my collection, listening to a lot of late 70s-early 80s stuff lately.

In mood for Weeknd all morning (no pun intended) because he's in my system after seeing him perform live yesterday, made a huge 15-20 thousand crowd venue feel like an intimate full of vibes night club

He is an RNB God that decided to become a Pop king sadly :D His voice still dope tho.

@Mohad @Ocelot @Salvo me and my friends in argument of who wins this battle of trap midgets (for some reason new rappers getting shorter and shorter lol), after seeing Lil Uzi open up for Weeknd last night, y'll be the judges after I play these 2 songs :nico: Wont tell you my choice,

3 six mafia sound back for one song is allways  They should invited Dj Paul instead of Whiz for this one.

Btw just fyi Lil Uzi was absolutely shit live :D Such spastic mofo, was only good when he vibed to bad an bouje (a song he kinda ruined with his yah yah yah yah :D), but in his overall material thats decent on tape but his live performance needs lots of work. Or he doesnt give a fvck when he is just a warm up act for 30 minutes or so.

Honestly not a fan of either of them :D

Like I think the beats are really fucking great, but those guys and their genre are pretty much the only Hip-Hop subgenre I legitimately can't stand. Even started to like some Travis Scott & Gucci Mane tracks recently, and the occasional Migos song at parties is cool, but...let's just say it's pretty bad when I can't wait for Big Sean to come on on a track

So that makes me a horrible judge, but if I had to choose I'd probably pick Lil Uzi's, purely because I like the beat more, and I can pretend I don't understand his awful lyrics because he mumbles more than the other dude :D

Also, ever since seeing this I can't think of anything else when hearing Lil Uzi's name

Hands down my favorite of that album, tough to choose best of the best because the dude is an RnB god.

Weeknd is awesome, listened to a lot of the trilogy recently.

Any recommendations for RnB artists to check out next? Don't really know anything about the genre, only listening to Weeknd & Frank Ocean so far, also checked out BJ the Chicaco Kid, but didn't like him that much tbh.

You're gonna love Bryson Tiller:

I don't like Gucci, not one bit, his voice is just not for me. As for Lil Uzi, he's still pretty young so Im hoping he'll "mature" his style of rap, but idm listening to his music while playing fifa or doing something else like that. That being said, I won't voluntarily start intensely listening to his current crop of music like I do with Eminem, B.I.G, or G-Eazy.

edit: lmao just listened to that "yaaaah," cannot be unheard

lol wtf never expected G-Eazy of all people being mentioned in the same breath as those other two

Got nothing against him, has some solid songs, but he's nowhere near the league the other two are in (even if I'm not a particular fan of Eminem).

And thanks for the recommendation.

He is nowhere near them, but I like him and was the first name that jumped onto my mind because Ive probably replayed Random, Calm Down, Tumblr Girls, Me Myself & I, and last but certainly not least Downtown Love a million times each
