You keep saying he’s super poor defensively but what do you expect? You make it seem like he adds nothing like he’s Riquelme or something. Nobody is saying he’s Makelele.
I’m hoping we play him in a way that highlights his strengths. His strengths are all in the opponents half, in our half defending he adds pretty much zilch. If we keep him get a ball-winning B2B and then allow Weston freedom to join the attack.

Poor performance today. As bad as Rabiot. Hopefully gets back to his best against Chelsea.
Completely disagree. He was excellent reading spaces and stopped a lot of their passes and flicks with which they tried to get in our box.

Had that one horrible pass in the second half, but other than that very solid.

Rabiot was phenomenal in the second half.

He did some simple, but smart tricks that allowed us to contain possession. Its a indication that his understanding of the game is good, after most here said that he has a low football IQ.

I think that this forum has been focusing to much on him, he’s slowly growing to a starting player (or he maybe already is now), good games, bad games, invisible games all belong to that. The most important thing is that we have indications that he’s becoming a more and more important player.
