That's not even true for an average penalty, and Balotelli at that time had never missed a single one before, so that increases the odds even more.
Brazil was better that day, but not by much, to say they dominated is a complete exaggeration.
Much better, clearly the best team of the 2 as it has been for the last 30 years.
Balotelli is a good PK taker and would probably score, i'll give you that. But then it's a probability, anything could happen.
Maybe 50/50 was a bad percentage for a PK but it doesn't change the fact it should have been one instead of a goal.
That was an amateurish decision by the referee in Italy's favour that you conveniently didn't even remember to mention.

Brazilian being biased, who would have thought.

And 50/50 chance of penalty conversion is hilarious assumption.
Shut up or i won't support Croatia
Italy have breezed through their past few qualifications. Haven't lost a qualifier in 7 years (either WC or EC)
Never write them off in any tournament.
I never did, in my book both Brazil and Italy are the teams you never write off of a tournament. Although i find they will go through hell if they're to play either Brazil or Argentina. IMO they're better off playing the big European names. In fact, IMO, i think this Italian team will do better than people expect, better than those big European names. (Tbh i'd have to take another look at the groups to see who they will probably play past group stage).
