Yea I think he saw it but he decided to let it go because it was too early in the game. Not saying that he made the right decision (and of course Di Maria's handball was much more blatant than Muller's) but I know many referees who prefer to not give out cards early in the game.

Once there was a similar talk about it and they said that the referees have two different approaches to giving out the cards. Some prefer to control the game so early by showing yellow cards even for simple fouls and some prefer to handle the game by not giving out cards too early. I'm not sure but I think Lubos Michel was mentioned. What Di Maria did was in 7th minute of the match iiric, he didn't stop the Germans from an attack or anything, the game was 0-0 so even though it could have been a yellow in most of cases, Irmatov decided to let it go.

I know many refs who are officiating in the same method but I can't even give you the names of three Italian referees who are currently officiating Calcio games :D

The efficiency the German team is playing is up to him, the way the players have roles, their positioning, their work rate, their passing, their speed to move the ball upfront, the extreme awareness of what to do when having and not having the ball is all down to the Joachim. If you don't see that it's not my problem.

you do realize you didnt point out anything out of the ordinary for a coach every coach does that, it's working out brilliantly for him but he is yet to accomplish enough for him to be admirable, and if you dont that it's not my problem either.

    Germany was diving? where?
oh please van gaal and his players perfected the art.

True, I wouldnt give all the credit to Joachim, he did all the work picking his nose, whilst the players combined beautifully, I think that early 4-0 spanking of australia was the start of something special for them. Either way the germans have undoubtly been the best team in the tournament.

You guys remember the last WC when we had like 7 players in the final? Now Bayern Munchen have 11 players in the semis, we have none. Our material went from being the shit to just shit.

Wonder where we'll be next WC?
