i read that some wanted camo to start instead of perrotta or de rossi. but to be honest i see here some very good tactics by lippi.
why? perrotta derossi are both players who are playing a lot in the midfield, they dont go forward that much, they stay around the midfield. when camo came in the second half,
we saw automatically some refreshments in attack, camo running with the ball forward, giving some crosses. But think now if camo would have started, then derossi or perrotta would have subs him probably(because totti would have started anyway), and that means a bit more defensive tactic, as perrotta and derossi are a bit more defensive(read: not so aggressive then camo) with their game, that also means the defens of ghana wouldnt have had much more trouble with italy, and ghana could have concentrate on going forward only.
and about something else, some here said that why there isnt certain starting XI, but thats good, because the opponents wouldnt be sure who will start. it wouldnt be like ibra-trez-nedved start every match for juve with capello
