oh please, ghana has a good midfield with expirenced players like appiah and essien. what are you talking about man, they are a good team, every game is differant. italy didnt play rino today, but rino might play against czechs and i am sure he would have gave some good company to essien today

And one more thing,I was watching many Chelsea's games this season,and I saw that Essien is very effective in cutting the enemy's attacks,just like Makelele,but when he get the ball and runs toward the enemy goal he shoots like Ibrahimovic(imprecise)...every Ghanian player was covered well in the fase of their attacks but he was left alone,and that was the main reason why he had the most shoots on our goal(only one forced Gigi to intervene).Obviously that was a part of the tactic ,last night.
and since when italia offers a spectacular football like brazil does

no it was to playa, but you somehow slipt through before my message was posted
i dont understand playa, his saying as italy should have kicked essien and appiah and should have dominated the match. but as i said, rino was missing, rino is a player who could have stopped essien imo, because his strong, pirlo is not a player who fights physically, de rossi fights a bit, but his not so strong and his clearly better running around, and perrotta, i dont know, i wouldnt say he was bad, but again his not the player who fights much, he moved around, tryed some chanses on goal.

the italian midfield is fine they look caught out sometime because most teams play with 4 midfielders so its 4 on 3. totti plays up and cant help as much as a regular midfielder. so pirlo played amazing and everyone though his form would be an issue, de rossi played a gattuso type game ( good) and perrotta was simply ok. when gattuso is back we will look alot better because he runs his ass off for 90 + minutes.

they had 2 chances in the first half because zaccardo and grosso advanced a lot and left space behind them.

All in all,I think that Lippi used the players very well,and that Italy didn't play with the full power,though Ghana is maybe the strongest opponent we could get.
