Not too make things worse but Giovinco is still young, with very little experience on the high level, so his injury proneness is perhaps yet to be revealed. His physique is not reassuring, that's for sure..

Iaquinta's injuries aren't serious, but he does tend to miss a game or 2 every month. this would not be really concerning had Iaquinta not become an important player for us.

and yeah Vlatko, long balls it would be again. If Tiago stays then there is some hope for creativity should my injury scenario happen though.

That all sounds great in theory but...I don't know..It's not like VDV is 30 and we'll get him untill Giovinco matures, he's young as well with a long (possible) future at the club.

Lets play pretend here and say in the beginning rotation would be a rational and effective solution. What after a year, or two, when Giovinco becomes a world class AMC, on par with VDV? Then what the heck will we do? You can't rotate two class players, neither will accept that. The team is shaped around that type of player, you can't rotate that position. The best bet is to make them learn to play together, while Giovinco is so young it could be a possibility.

All in all I really want VDV but not at the expense of Giovinco.

We do the same thing we did with Baggio and Del Piero sell the former and replace him with the latter.

Or just pull a Zidane and sell Van Der Vart to Madrid for £40m!!

Though im sure we can play both.. Im mean Barca find space for Ronaldinho and Messi.

It would be stupid to hold off from buying world class players now in hope that Giovinco mioght become world class in 5 years.
