I think our DMs will have their job cut out if we play VDV-Govinco like what we used to with Del Piero-Zidane.

Back then we have Deschamps, Davids and Conte to do the dirty work in midfield and we know the latter 2 are extremely combative & competitive

Plus, its Del Piero-Zidane we are trying to replicate here .. definitely not easy but does not meant its not worth a try provided we do land VDV ...
Good one, i know i love imagination :juventus: , but love to have Diego too and Gio replace them ...VDV - Deigo ...:spliff:

Seeler warns Van der Vaart about Juve switch

BERLIN (AFP) - Hamburg's Dutch captain Rafael van der Vaart has been warned against a glamourous move to Italian giants Juventus by former German hero Uwe Seeler.

The Italians are reported to have offered 17 million euros (24.5 million US dollars) for Van der Vaart, 24, with a five-year contract, but former Hamburg idol Uwe Seeler, 71, has warned him to think hard about his options.

"Rafael should think hard about moving to Juventus," Seeler, a three-times German Footballer of the Year, told German tabloid Bild.

"In Germany, you can make good money and have a comfortable career. I would not like to be in Rafael's shoes."

Seeler retired in 1978 having scored 43 goals in 72 internationals for West Germany and stayed loyal to Hamburg, turning down transfers to Spain and Italy.

I don't know him but he could just soap it. Van der vart is a great player with so much qualities and he should move to a great Championship and a great club like Juventus. In addition, he stated that it would be a good opportunity to play for juventus. Fingers crossed guys
