ok martin, if you are expecting me to defend conservatives and bush initiative followers then you are not understanding what i've been saying this entire time.

i have been giving my incognito conservative p.o.v. but not as a conservative unlike vinny. i am speaking as a lightly garnished liberal who sees what the democrats have brought to bat the past 8 years and can confidently say that they were not better candidates than the RPN.

i have not supported or referenced any of senator McCain's propoganda or initiatives or views. but i have targeted Obama's obvious weaknesses and inexperience.

Good find, Canardo.

A derivative named Credit Default swaps just sounds suspicious to begin with. What they're doing is trading debt for possible payoffs when they don't even have to hold an asset or guarantee their own creditworthiness. These things seem to create more losses than gains and really should only be used for hedging purposes, but they are not.

But yeah. Lets go ahead and vote for McCain and his chief adviser for helping cause this latest fiasco, thus hurting this nation even more. Some people need to turn that damn TV off and read a little more.

3000 americans killed in the WTC attack. 4000 americans killed in iraq. it appears to me that one can quite clearly point out that more americans have been killed during these non-attack times
comparing deaths of soldiers in a WAR overseas to innocent people on American soil is just outrageous !!

Try again, Bessie !!

back to this for a second...

if you listened to everything that clown had to say, then it was much worse than the few sentences I posted here

if it was taken out of context, then why is Obama trying to distance himself from Wright ??

i think you look at the entire 911 scenario through a kaleidoscope.

ppl need to understand that it would have happened no matter who was in office. The problem is that if Al Gore was our president at the time then we would not have gotten any sort of reaction or emotion from the man. GWB was the right leader at the right time. Whether you like to hear it or not.

Barak Obama as great as you think he is, is a rookie senator who got the right people behind him to run in a weak election. Its like serie A in 2007 where Inter ran away with it because there was no competition. Obama has not accomplished anything during his term as senator that is noteworthy enough to validate him as president of the U.S. 1 term alone is not enough to make the jump from congress to the executive office!

Since obama's knock against McCain is that he is the 'same' as GWB and there will be nothing new or different offered to the people if McCain is elected then I will give you this analogy to ponder:

(With all things being equal and everyone here thinking the past 8 years have been horrible for the people of the U.S.)

If you have been eating garbage for the past 8 years, and someone finally says you can either choose to keep eating garbage or switch to eating shit which would you prefer?
George W. Bush was never the right man for the job. And saying so makes you look like an idiot. Bush didn't even win those elections in the first place and his response to 9/11 was, like you said, highly emotional and all about revenge. Far from the class you'd expect from a world leader.

The whole 9/11 scenario is strange. I'm not into conspiracy theories, but a lot of things are very very odd. If you'd then consider the fact that 9/11 is a huge advantage to the republicans you have to wonder. I'm not saying they made it happen, but perhaps they let it happen. Let's be frank here, nothing was done to prevent 9/11 on the day itself. And very little was done before.

It's not that I think Obama's great. It's that I think he's the only option.

really ?

have we been attacked since ??

how many times were our interests around the world (including the first WTC bombing) attacked while a democrat was in office ??

now who's not good at reasoning, Seven ?
You're not so great at it.

1. Bush was in office during 9/11. So your interests were attacked while a republican was in office. The comparison with democrats doesn't even hold as there has been no democrat in office since 9/11.

2. It has been seven years since 9/11. I don't think it's such a great achievement to not have another disaster like it. I mean, two like that in eight years would be truly bad.

3. I have this great rock in my room. It keeps lions away. I take it you want to buy that rock?

In a war America created. There was no need for the war. It's the same bloody thing. It's just that more Americans died in Iraq.

I have really strong ties with America, I've lived there, have a lot of American friends and people over there I consider family but if America elects an invalide veteran instead of a young man with new and refreshing ideas then I must say, Americans are just stupid.
How can they even consider McCain after all what has happened under Bush.
At first I gave McCain the bene, fit of the doubt, the same party but someone with possibly different ideas, untill he announced Palin as his running mate.
He is no different from Bush, him and this frigid sidekick are eating out of the palm of the oil-industry with absolutely no intention of losing their interest and investments in oil swamped countries aca Iraq, Iran...
Republicans dream of global domination while ignoring their own citizens in the process. They want to creat a christian stronghold against islam.
why would they have prevented the attacks on the twin towers, it gave them the perfect excuse to invade a country that had nothing to do with it but was rich in ressources.
riding on a wave of patriotism and misguiding the public probably got Bush re-elcted
I'm afraid to say this but I wouldn't be surprised if another conflict would emerge as the ellections are around the corner
Surely that would help the republicans again.

What saddens me is that people like Vinman think it's okay to vote for this guy. I mean, Vinman isn't the brightest guy on the forums, but he's not an idiot either. If he's voting McCain, where does it stop?

you havent seen the idiots that i have to choose from, to vote

harper (conservatives) - killed an unprecedented surplus, lowered goods and services tax unnecessarily, is ruining southern ontario's economy by killing the manufacturing sector, dangerously close to Bush, i believe the idiot would have taken canada to iraq if he were in power

dion (liberal) - no charisma at all, looks like he is going to cry every time he speaks, gets bullied by harper, did not want these elections because he knew he was not going to win them, talks about the environment all the time when everyone is worried about the economy, plus he has a pussy french accent

You should know this by now. The only way to get something done is to do it yourself.

Last I heard McCain's tax plan will raise your taxes and lower taxes for the richest 1%. Obama's plan was the opposite.

he did what the people wanted which was revenge, and don't try to tell me what the people wanted because you were not here and you are not a citizen of the U.S. and you are not a new yorker.

It's not that I think Obama's great. It's that I think he's the only option.
once again, i will say this to you and to everyone else who is on obama's d*ck:

WTF makes him so great? thus far everyone's only answer is that he is not mccain. that he brings fresh new stance? why do i have to keep reminding everyone that he has been in washington for 1 full term only!!!! he really hasn't walked his baby nuts around the corner and you ppl label him the next savior of this country? gimme a break!

So what? You always seem to link high taxes to a bad life. I get it, you don't like socialism. What's important is what you get for those taxes.

thank you!! thats what i've been saying!!

Even if the people want revenge, that's not what you do as a president. For the last time, I never said Obama was great. Ask Andy FFS, he'll tell you that I'm cautious about Obama. But like I said, he's the only option. You cannot seriously consider a senile republican at this stage.

Dru, do explain to me. How can you possibly justify voting for someone who doesn't know where Spain is (a few weeks ago it was Germany)? It's gotta be dead obvious to you that the level of intelligence is roughly that of a high school drop out.
