That and in order to attempt at paying off our trillion dollar debt, Bush and his cronies begin selling Federal Bonds. Not a bad idea except when you find out the businessmen buying them up in droves are from China a country on the axis of evil list. I may be confused but I don't think it's wise to sell shares of your country to a sworn enemy.
It's his opponents blowing his words out of proportion. Basically what conservatives want you to believe is that by Obama saying he wants to cut unnecessary spending and destroy nuclear weapons, he really means he wants to completely disarm America leaving us open to attacks from everyone. But who the hell are they going to sell the bonds to? The dollar is already 50% cheaper than the Euro. Nobody is going to want our shit.
