What part of my post are you talking about? If it's not possible to choose the lesser of two evils in this case, what's the alternative for you? To not vote at all? What is it going to change and in what way would it be beneficial? One of the two evils will be elected regardless of your participation. If that's your stance, well it's exactly what is wrong with my nation. And since what's wrong with my nation is more critical than what's wrong with your nation, I win.

It's natural to feel like your vote makes a major difference, though. Entire political campaigns are created on the emotional premise that your choices are redemption or certain death.

We humans like to believe singular events determine everything. Hell, this is why you get people whining that because of a penalty awarded in the 64th minute, the entire outcome of a match was somehow preordained.

Fuck that shit, nobody should vote Democrat or Republican simply because one of those two parties will win. That's a shit reason and anyone with a brain should vote third party or not at all.
