So far it's evil for decades, I don't see why should anything change now. People were excited about Obama before, yet nothing happened (nothing better I mean).

Before somebody says I hate the US, I don't. It's almost the same here in Serbia.

Everywhere in the world it's plausible to choose the lesser of two evils. Even if nothing considerably changes in the short term, it can make way for bigger changes in the future.

As for Obama, it's only Americans who can decide but one would never know what would have happened if McCain had been elected instead.
