Meh. I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories and I bet such theories wouldn't have emerged had he been white.

I'm certainly not a fan of Obama as I believe he is a weak and inept president. However, the conspiracy theories concerning him are simply ludicrous.
Exactly.

And I am not a huge fan of Obama, but the alternative that the Republicans are presenting is insane, so I don't see how I have a choice in the vote.

Yes free market ,smaller government is insane
No, that makes total sense and I'm in agreement with those two ideas as I am a fiscal conservative myself.

What I am against is lowering taxes for the rich, which is exactly what Romney is going to do if he's elected.

Between Obama and Romney, I really don't know who is better. They are both pretty bad and unappealing, which makes it more of a contest between the lesser of the two evils than voting for the candidate you like.

I am against this, his opinions on abortion, foreign policy, immigration, gun control, healthcare, you name it.

Yep, his stance on these issues are contrary to mine too.

How much does it cost to buy insurance in the US?

The penalty tax is about 2%, surely you can afford that instead of having to pay tens of thousands of dollars when you go to the hospital?

I'm not a fan of Obamacare myself, I think Americans should expand Medicare to all.

Gun control shouldn't exist in the US it only controls law abiding citizens , criminals will always get guns. Immigration needs to be legal and not illegal with a massive influx of illegal aliens. We did it legally so can they. A candidates position on abortion is basically worthless as they will never change it now.

Yes and end up like Europe in constant debt. The tax for business is 2K per person

Of course it should, but unfortunately it's too late to just ban guns outright (but it might be a start). No one needs a pistol, or an assault rifle, or half of the things one can legally buy there. It's insanity. Criminals will still get guns, but you could try to make it a bit more difficult. And "law abiding" citizens can be just as big of a problem.

And you'd be surprised what people can change.

The tax is if the service isn't purchased.
But others purchase it, and you never know, you might lose your job and need it yourself.

Okay for your first point, are you serious? What a hateful comment. As for your second, that is why universal healthcare is a good thing...it provides for everyone, regardless of employment.

It's not hateful Kate. I wouldn't move to a country and then try and change its founding document. This is America it was founded with certain principles and the right to bear arms is in the fabric of our nation

It was founded by principles that were important in a completely different time period (much like the Bible...) and which don't all hold the same relevance today. And who said anything about moving to the country and trying to change them? Many people who were born there oppose guns as well (like me), should they all leave too?

The constitution can only be changed by an amendment so it will never be amended to ban guns. Sorry. Like I said banning guns only hurts law abiding citizens. Criminals will always get guns and the government will always have them
