Like many other similar contorversies in the past (Salman Rushdie's Satanic verses, the Danish cartoons, etc), many of people crying over the matter don't even know what's exactly happened. Not that it would make them act differently but the fact that they don't even feel the need to study the subject themselves and then decide how to react is insane. "They" say it's offensive so it has to be offensive.

For us, there is nothing to study, the representation is wrong and offenisve no matter what the content, the aim of the movie is.
