Makes sense.

Anyways, it'll be interesting to see how Islam evolves in the time of globalization and information. The Muhammed provocations will never stop.

So it'll be interesting to how muslims will react to them. Of course an increase in the general living standard will do a lot (especially [objective] education) to decrease those sort of reactions.

In Denmark most muslims seems to just ignore it - which is smart.
Yeah, the west also should learn to respect our sensitivities, because it's gone too far.

Why didn't people go nuts, when South Park portrayed him as a superhero?
Because it has a lot more to do with the domestic situation in a given country, than the actually depictions.

We saw that for ourselves with the muhammed drawings.

Many people in the west do respect your sensitivity. But we can't control every single idiot in the western world.

And this is where many muslims go wrong. They simply do not understand how Freedom of Speech works. We cannot forbid anybody from depicting Muhammed.

there is no consensus on hadith between the 2 sects(hence the schism), i think for your statements to be correct you have to preface by saying your view is that of the majority of sunnis.
I didn't get what you mean ?

There is 3 reference for muslims, the Quran, the Hadith and the life of the prophet, and last the " Work & Interprtation " of the muslims savants. There's no consensus because in the life of the Prophets, there wasn't two sects and they shouldn't be. Shia followed Ali.

Oh stroke my dick, are you kidding?

Why should everyone do what is easiest for YOU?

There are a billion muslims on the planet, why do the other five billion people need to do what you say?

In my country, we can do pretty much whatever we want, and if you don't like it, then I have the right to say, "well, fuck you."

meaning, shiaa have a different set of hadith than sunnis, otherwise there wont be 2 sects. Shias disregard a lot of hadith relayed by those they deem with agendas ex: Aisha and include other hadith sunnis see as weak at best.

Social networks, media...

The drawing by the Denmark journal were published and it took 3 months for it to explode in the muslim world, there's no denying that there's instrumentalisation of the events by politicians, extremist groups...
But there's no hypocrisy in there. Practicing and non practicing muslims will tell you it's gone too far.
