someone's forgetting about Iniesta.

I personally rate RVP above Falcao, but it is a tight one.
I am not, Cristiano is way ahead of the rest competition.

And there is little between Falcao, Ibra, RVP and Cavani. But Falcao goes ahead of the curve for deciding two cup finals.

Lets be totally moderfucking honest here

carry'd real madrid to end barcelona's reign in spain, winning the title, scoring a sick 46 goals.

Carry'd real madrid to the semi finals of the CL, where a stupid amount of luck in the first leg, and excessive fatigue due to classico 3 days earlyer in the second leg, and unlucky penalty shootout, knocked them out

Carry'd portugal on his back trough the european tournament, where they played the best football, domminating spain the entire game, beeing terribly lucky not to win during 120 minutes, then lost out in again, horrible penaltyshootout

what did messi do ?

he won the copa del rey, and scored a shitload of goals in calenderyear 2012

fucking excuse me, but the ballon d'or was rewarding best performance, not highest potential ability

i bet if porgugal won the european cup, even then he wouldnt have won it

Messi - Copa del rey, supercoppa di uefa 2011, international cup 2011
Ronaldo - La Liga, semi-final CL, semi-final EURO 2012
Iniesta - Copa del rey, supercoppa di uefa 2011, international cup 2011, winner of EURO 2012 + MVP of the tourney
Pirlo - Serie A, runner-up Coppa di Italia, Supercoppa di Italia, runner up EURO 2012

But since are congo and madagascar national federations are voting Messi will be on the top

Wow i just find out that Messi was named best La Liga player of 11/12 season

Fastest hat-trick of the season:
Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid against Levante, 12 minutes and 12 seconds (12 February 2012)

honestly, no.

Ronaldo : won the league, CL semi final knocked out and should have won, EC2012 semifinal knocked out and should have won

Pirlo : won the league(undefeated), no european competition, EC2012 final lost in horrible circumstances

The selection *is* ridiculous and you can question it no matter what. But who really has been expecting to see Pirlo in the final XI? Let Juve defend the scudetto, reach the champions league final and let Pirlo have one or two brilliant games during the quarter/semi/finals, then he will win.

But, actually, who does care? Since when do we need confirmation from outside? Since when are we eager to attract glory hunters? What I like about the current Juve is, that it's about the team and not individual players. Of course there are the magicians, the workers and the geniuses, but no one stands above the team.

There are a bronze medals for 3-4 place at the EURO and there is nothing for the same place in CL
 When was this? I don't remember Germany playing against Portugal for 3'rd place at the Euros. There is a 3'rd/4'th place playoff @ the World Cup, but that is a FIFA endorsed event, not sponsored by UEFA.
