Actually, in Italy when he was playing at Parma, they called him America or the American.

Here, during censuses, when you're asked about your nationality you can say whatever the fuck you want. If you say that you're Martian, they will register you as Martian and if 3 more say the same, then officially 4 Martians will be registered as citizens of Croatia.

But even if you feel like you're from Alderaan, Alen, you're still Croatian. There is no such thing as Alderaani citizenship, and neither are there Martian Croatian nationalities.

I agree with everything you said in the last few pages except calling Rossi a traitor in case he chose Italian NT in spite of feeling like an American. I mean, who are we to decide whether Rossi was right or wrong? It is his life and he decided to play for Italy. Even if he had said that he feels like an American, choosing Italian NT over the American one doesn't make him a traitor. Even if he chose Italy because he thought it would help his career more (since Italy are a bigger team ) it is all right in my book. It's actually more or less the life story of almost all immigrants. They immigrate to have better opportunities to live or to work. Are they traitors to the country the were born and in many cases raised in?
