you wish! If revolution happens here, we non Muslims are truly fucked!
Not necessarily.

Imagine the irony if you're forced to escape in Turkey. :D

I hope it never happens. I don't like the scary potential and consequences of what's happening in Tunisia.
On the complete contrary, its a very refreshing thing to see, and in my short life, this is my proudest moment as an Arab, i just hope it has a happy ending and the Tunisian people get to have honest and fair elections. The best case scenario is if it has a domino effect and reaches the neighboring countries of Algeria, Libya, Egypt and Morocco, enough is enough.

I know that you conclude that because of what is happening in Iraq right now as the Christians are being killed just because of their religion. But you have to put in mind that these "Muslim fanatics" are made up by the corrupt regimes in the region to make people feel very scared of the unknown. They just want to keep the status quo and the best approach they are using to do that is "Divide et impera" which means that Muslims should be scared of Christians and Arabs should be scared of Kurds and similar examples just to make people think that the current state is the best possible one.

Just looking at the model applied in Turkey right now makes all these theories look pathetic as the ruling party now is considered "Muslim Fanatic" but it is very reformative and looking froward to the best of all its people regardless their religion or sect. That is the example we are looking for, Snoop. You know our Christians are one of the most important pillars in our society. Nobody can ignore the impact of Christians in our struggle to have better life and better future. Those killing Christians in Iraq and Egypt are not real Muslims. They are just dummies in the hands of the current corrupt regimes.

I am not saying that because of what happened in Iraq, not at all.. We have fanatic sunnis here, and specially "ikhwan muslmeen" that tried to take the control of the country once, and you know how it ended, they were massacred by the government. There are still a lot of them, who hates us with passion, and they make troubles with Non-Muslims or non-Arabs a lot.

Durin Hafez Al Asad time, no one dared to make these troubles, but now it is increasing, the security is not strong as before. For example last year, there were fanatics who attacked Christian tombs, they destroyed most of them and broke all the crosses. See? You don't hear these on news, the government keeps it low. Alawis are not fanatics, thanx God, for that they are against these and punish very hard. If the leaders were fanatic Sunnis, the ones who try to take control for decades, the story would have been so different, very similar to Iraqis..

Be sure I am only talking about fanatics, and not Sunnis in general..

Just looking at the model applied in Turkey right now makes all these theories look pathetic as the ruling party now is considered "Muslim Fanatic" but it is very reformative and looking froward to the best of all its people regardless their religion or sect. It's not as bright as you think it is Abed. Turkey is going backward, you should ask the Turks. of course not their supporters.

Erdogan is the biggest extremist, everyone knows how extremist he is in Turkey. His speeches are all over internet, youtube. I myself remember one I saw few years back, like 15 years ago, he was telling in mosque "God will ask you three times "what is your religion", if you answer Al hamdulillah I am Muslim" he will say pass to heaven, and the rest will burn in hell".. How about that? you think he changed? :D

Many examples I can give you that he is trying to take the country backward, to something similar of what Iran or Saudi Arabia is. And this image you are seeing as a role model for other Islam world, isn't made by him, but Turkey was like this for decades. Syria isn't much different to be honest, and that is for decades too..

You know our Christians are one of the most important pillars in our society. Nobody can ignore the impact of Christians in our struggle to have better life and better future. you don't have to tell these to me man, I know, and there isn't any problem from our side neither, if there was, no one would stay here right? I am talking about the fanatics, just telling you how horrible would be if they take the control.

Update:

Tunisian revolution was robbed as the new government is not really different from the previous one.

4 Algerians burnt themselves to protest against the unemployment and the high prices in Algiers.

An Egyptian guy has burnt himself in front of the parliament in Cairo

A Mauritanian guy has burnt himself too in front of the parliament in Nawakshot.

You can ask me. He is elected with %50 support. What you call going backward is returning to natural self. Of course it will be disturbing for happy minority, pagan elitists. If you ask them they will tell you how Turkey is going backward, people started to stop worshipping their idol and turned their face to Islam.

people started to stop worshipping their idol and turned their face to Islam.
Which is equally wrong, from one god to another.. No difference at all..
